Nik stood still for a moment to get his bearings, then, releasing the demons' hands, he headed into his room to grab his violin. He decided just to ignore Kieran's words and the wink, unsure how to respond to that, and set the violin case on his bed so that he would remember to grab it after he was done gathering everything else up that he wanted to keep.
Ash and Kieran stood quietly in the background, allowing Nik to do what he needed to do. Kieran was, as usual, exploring whatever caught his attention. Ash stood still, his eyes flicking from Kieran to Nik at a steady pace, making sure that the bigger demon didn't get into trouble and that Nik didn't need any help. Kieran looked over at Ash and blew a raspberry, before hopping over to Nik's side. "Anything I can do to help?" He asks cheerfully.
"No, I don't think so…" he trailed off in thought. "Oh! Smoke has a scratching post over there–" he gestured to one corner of the room. "So maybe you could grab that?" he looked up at Kieran for a moment, then went back to packing a duffel bag. He didn't grab all of his clothes, just the ones that he had a special attachment to, and folded them before putting them in the bag.
Kieran walked over to where the scratching post was and grabbed it easily. Ash kept quiet despite the action around him, keeping a steady eye on Kieran who was currently curiously going through Nik's closet before he returned to helping Nik. Kieran was having a blast exploring. His eyes were dilated like a cats as he explored, eager to take in new things. "Cute apartment you have~" He coos happily.
Nik glanced up for a moment. "Thank you." he responded, then went back to packing up, not really paying much attention to the two demons in his apartment.
He nods a little bit before settling on the floor and relaxing now. Ash rolled his eyes a little bit at Kieran before squeaking when the other smacked his ass firmly. "What the hell was that for?"
"You're being an ass." Kieran said simply.
Ash snorts softly. "And you're being a dick, but do you see me hitting you there?" Kieran huffed slightly. "Not like you could. How's the weather down there?" He snickers.
He rolled his eyes when he heard the two arguing, shaking his head a little, and then continued with his packing, humming to himself as he packed up.
Ash huffed, but said nothing else. If anyone were to get an emotion out of him it would be Kieran. He glances over at Nik, humming quietly. "How's the packing going?" He asks curiously. He knew that it was best for someone to do their own packing since there were things with sentimental value.
"Oh! Fine, it shouldn't take me too much longer." he replied, heading into the bathroom to grab a last few items, putting them into the bag.
He nods at the others words and glances over at Kieran who was currently making a face behind Ash's back. "When we get home you're in trouble." Ash spoke calmly. Kieran smirked. "Whatchya gonna do? Spank me?" He teased, however he was quickly shut up with a glare from Ash, and he gulped. Maybe he shouldn't have pushed his luck.
Nik smirked very faintly at hearing the demons' conversation, biting back a laugh and instead letting out a quick breath, trying to figure out if there was anything else he needed to grab from the house.
Kieran quietly sat for the remainder of the time in the apartment, only moving to help Nik if he needed it. As for Ash, he had a smug glimmer in his eyes as he stood in his spot quietly. Kieran knew better to push his luck with Ash. There were always consequenses.
Nik eventually came over to them, his bag slung over his shoulder and his violin case held carefully in one hand. "Alright. I'm ready to go." He said, taking a last look around the apartment that had been his home for so long.
Kieran nods, looking a little meeker than he had either before taking one of Nik's hands. Ash nods at Nik's words before taking his wrist instead of his hand before they returned to the giant home in the demon realm. "Kieran. You know what to do." Ash snaps at Kieran the moment they got home. Kieran nods and scurries off to somewhere. Ash glances at Nik. "Is there anything I can do for you?" He asks quietly.
(ah I'm so sorry, I thought I replied!)
Nik watched Kieran go for a moment, a little curious, but figured it was none of his business as he returned his attention to Ash. "No, I…I think that's everything I needed for now." he looked around curiously. "Although I'm not sure where my cat went."
(It's okie!)
Ash nods and his eyes glint slightly. "Smoke is currently sleeping in the sunroom. It's two hallways down, turn to your left third door. Or you could simply say sunroom if you don't feel like walking. If you need anything else, simply call for us. I will let you have your time to get unpacked. Do you want me to take your things to your room?"
"If you could take the scratching post for me, that would be great, but I can carry everything else." he said, smiling a little bit and heading the way Ash had gestured in order to get Smoke.
Ash nods and takes the scratching post, carrying everything before glancing at the other. "Where do you want me to put this?" he asks curiously as he looks over his shoulder. "Your room, or the sun room?"
"Mm…my room." Nik replied, glancing over at Ash with a faint little smile for a moment. "Please."
Ash nods before walking quietly to Nik's room. He found an easy place where the scratching post would fit before setting it down. He sighed deeply and ran a hand through his hair. He wasn't sure what to do. It wasn't like Nik ordered them around much like their previous masters… it was… strange to say the least.
Nik found Smoke, scooping the kitten up and carrying him back to his room, setting his bag and violin case down on his bed, stretching.
He hummed as he watched the other and shut his eyes. "Well if that's everything you need, I'll be going then." He smiled gently and bowed a little bit.
"Yeah. Thank you. And tell Kieran thank you for me, too, if you see him." he replied with a soft smile. Smoke stretched, meowing softly.
"Of course," He chuckles a little bit. "Call, if you need anything at all." He exits the room quietly. He hummed as he wandered down the halls as he wanders for a moment.
"Alright." once Ash was gone, he started unpacking, putting his clothes in the wardrobe and finding places to put everything.
