Okay so either demon or human prince has to find a wife to be king by law, he finds B and decided to force them into a arranged marriage. However once they get married and he becomes king he seems like he wants nothing to do with B. He leaves them to do whatever they want in there spare time, however he finds he feels quite empty after achieving his one and only goal.
Later he starts falling for the wife he choose, and the struggle is that he has no clue if B will ever return the love back to him.
There's also a potential struggle for producing healthy heirs to the throne.

Name: Haruta Yami
Nickname: Ruta, Ru
Age: 23
Gender: male
Sexuality: straight (not that he cares)
Appearance: https://pin.it/2dgVVN2
Personality:he's very regal andresponsible, when you first meet him, or see him he's very strict and serious. He's got a general and elder prince mindset, he follows some of the rules, heh. If you really get to know him though he's more relaxed, he actually pops a joke or two, though he's more of a schemer then most. He's got a decent amount of flaws like uh, not having good morals.
Bio:he's schemed his way up to being the prince in line for the throne,(maybe he killed the other siblings or others in line for the throne ahead of him, at least that's what the gossip says when the maids talk about him) but one day lusicar(his younger brother) decided to quit on his military duties leaving haruta to pick up the slack and put a hold on his coronation until lusicar decides to take up his position or the king dies. The king at the moment is teaching him how to rule over the kingdom.

Name: Emese Seo
Nickname: Emmie, Ehms, Troublemaker
Age: 22
Gender: Cis female (She/Her)
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Emese has soft, rounded features that give her a gentle look; her ivory skin fuels the notion too. She only stands at 5'6". Her peepers are almond shaped that have an almost black shade to them. She likes to keep her raven colored hair up in an asymmetrical twisted bun since it goes an inch below the middle of her back. Her body is curvy, but the shape is hidden underneath all the silk skirts and robes she wears. There is a little scar underneath her left peeper from when she fell off a leafy tower when she was four.
Personality: While Emese has a bonita face of a young sweet, docile lady, she is (for the better part) not sweet. Yes there is a part of her that is soft and sensitive, needs affection, loves children, enjoys company, and likes things such as dogs and cats, but she takes advantage of her fortitude and seeks to be the one above most in the human containment unit. She does not stand others' foolishness and their words; usually she goes out of her way to put sense into them. A leader in her own right, she does not mind being the one in front or the center of things. If anyone ruins her, she will ruin them, but Emese hides all the pain and sorrow. She does love to help others, usually going out of her way to when necessary, but her compassion is often hidden by other qualities.
Bio: Being the youngest out of six children, and the only daughter, Emese had a different upbringing compared to other noble ladies her age. Her mother passed away when before she turned one and her father never bothered to marry again. She looked up to her father and her one older brother Gwi; both men are talented as military men. Whenever she snuck out from her studies and etiquette lessons, she would sit and watch her brothers' sparring lessons. Eventually she begged her family to let her take lessons in things such as sparring, fighting, and medicine, and they let her.
Since she didn't have a mother growing up, she would always was with one of her brothers since her father was always at battle or the palace. Usually she was off on her own at parties, teasing and playing around with the men and their dates. Emese almost was married to a nobleman's son, but Gwi had it broke off because the young man was "weak". She didn't mind it, she did believe her oldest brother. Sure she has had a few secret romantic relationships, but they all faded away. Now she just heads to the military barracks half-hour away from home to help with the wounded and sick, wanders around, or to the gardens at home where she hides and reads.
Other: Despite enjoying being around people, Emese does need time alone; sometimes she'll hide somewhere for hours until deciding to make her presence known. Then there is the natural urge to hit someone if they startle her. Some of Emese favorite things are her father and brothers, grimoires, silver stabby-wabbies, the way her skirts move and make swishing sounds, cats, dogs, the moonlit hours sky, and the fire place.
(Oh great, I'm glad you do! I think that her and Haruta are going to make a great pair. I can't wait to get started)
( so how do you wanna start? Before the marriage or after)
(After sounds good to me)
Haruta was sitting on his throne, reading official royal documents. He had a long list of citizens to memorize who had requested to meet with him, along with reports about how the kingdoms mandatory sustenance (like cheetos) supply was barring. He had to make sure to look over everything along with the requests for his blessing.
He made sure that he forced himself to read those requests no matter how tiresome it was. He had to keep up his duties to the throne if he wanted to keep this position.
Still, he couldn't help but wonder about what his supposed wife was doing, could she be rooming the halls?
Perhaps she went down to the village to get as far away from him as possible. If he were her, he would also want to seperate himself as far away from the person that forced them to marry.
Well, he did grant them leisure time and hasn't even forced them to any royal meetings and the like.
He let out a small hmph, maybe he should force her to read all the people's demands and requests out loud so he could process them better.
He stretched out his arms, figuring he would take a quick break at the castle wisdom warehouse. He got up from the throne and rolled up the parchment, making his way to the wisdom warehouse through the halls of the castle.
Wasted. Emese feels as if she has been casted away and has wasted all the potential she had built up for herself. Quite frankly, she was originally jazzed about marrying the crown prince. As the temporary head of the house, her brother, Gwi, was in no position to refuse. Who would refuse a marriage proposal from the soon to be king?
She would. By the heavens and all the spirits. If she had known now sitting in the castle wisdom warehouse practically collecting dust like some of the grimoires, she would have gone back in time to run off with a barbarian or some rebel. But here she is, sitting in the far corner of the wisdom warehouse with a grimoire on her lap. A lady-in-waiting is standing by a bookshelf far away, keeping an peeper on her. The grimoire hasn't been touched in half exactly 3600 seconds.
Her peepers flickered down to the jade wedding bands she has to wear. She has written to Gwi and her brothers how much looking at it hurts her. Emese thought she would being married to the king, being queen would mean sitting at royal meetings, listening to subjects and their problems then solving them; things that she can do practically by herself. She even thought it meant spending time with the king. Being his loving dutiful wife, queen, but she can only recall passing by him in the halls.
She has done nothing but sparring, reading, walking, talking to ambassadors and their wives, going to help soldiers and their ailments or injuries, writing, and so on. All of which she does like, but now those activities are reminders that she is being taken for granted and she is wasting her potential as a queen, wife, or whatever.
Her fingers curled up on the edges of the grimoire. Eventually her lady-in-waiting heard something then dashed over to her. Emese sighed then motioned for the lady-in-waiting to stand outside the wisdom warehouse then. They both knew who was on their way. And yes, Emese wished she could just run away.
He made quick work of making it to the wisdom warehouse, strolling down the hallways with his long legs. He take the hallways in stride as he walked, however when he got there he noticed his wife's lady in waiting at the wobbly flip-shutter.
Could she be here…?
If his wife was here, then maybe perhaps he could help her with the royal documents. Of course, he didn't think she could help him other then reading things out to him and the like. He didn't exactly believe women to be very estut, then again that was his own fault.
He knew not to disrespect women however, being one to interact with the maids quit often before he came king, although it was mostly so they would keep his secrets because he treated them so well. Now he hardly had time to have a meal with the servants, or visit them.
"Is the queen in the royal wisdom warehouse then?" He raised a brownin question to the lady in waiting as he looked down at her with his arms crossed.
He would not be pleased if he was kept waiting for an answer.
Her lady-in-waiting kept her chin to the floor. She stood a groundhand away from the wall. Keeping her gaze down, she bowed at the king when he walked by. "Uhhh…yes, Your Majesty….Her Majesty is in the royal wisdom warehouse," She nodded. "She is on the far side in the back if you wish to see her."
Emese finally found the motivation to open up the grimoire that has been sitting in her lap for so long. Initially she did want to read it given that it was one that her father, Gwi, and all soldiers have to know in order to be good fighters. Although she may not necessarily need it, she thought that it would give her further insight on her studies of being what she wants to be: an influential and wise queen.
But if only she could. The cobble-stone-clippity-clop to it doesn't seem to exist now and it's all thanks to Haruta. She is treading on unknown grassy paths that makes her wonder if she will go anywhere. She knows that she doesn't want to be another queen who just lies around, buying useless dresses, having children, and only bring remembered because her portraits are pretty. No, while she does not really mind the bearing children part, she wants to be more than the typical queen, because she knows she can.
On the other hand, she could not wrap around her mind in order to get it to focus on the pages. Her fingers still squeezed on the edges till her knuckles turned white. The fact that Haruta is here just keeps coming up in her mind. A mixture of anger, frustration, sadness, and confusion loomed over her head as she held the grimoire up closer to her face.
"Hm..alright. thank you my lady." He spoke, moving to open the wobbly flip-shutter to the wisdom warehouse himself.
"Try and work on making peeper contact next time, it's disrespectful to avoid peeper contact when speaking to your king." He didn't say it in a threatening tone, just a plain one. He walked into the wisdom warehouse and shut the wobbly flip-shutter behind him. He looked around, taking his time to glance through the wisdom warehouse.
should I go visit her? I hardly believe she would want to see me. I am her husband however, I shouldn't be neglecting her as if she doesn't exist.
He let out a soft sigh, Turning to go towards where she was located. He wasn't trying to mask his steps either.
She would be able to hear him coming.
He took his sweet time getting to her, but by the time he did get to her he noticed she was reading a grimoire.
well, at least she's actually reading.
