Knight pauses, then chuckles.

"I may be perfect, but even my muscles degrade over time. And yes, it's real skin." he replies letting himself fall. His knees don't even bend as he hits the ground.

He walks up to Derik and offers his hand. "You can even check for yourself."

Derik smiles, “It’s still cool. AI’s gone far over the years. Anyways.” He hums still looking at Knight’s hand, “Are you as durable as a human or tougher?”

"I'm not technically AI. I'm human, like you, just with less personality and thought of my own." Knight counters.

He takes a moment to consider the next thing that Derik says before chuckling. He grabs his shoulder and rips his own arm off. Dark red blood sprays for a split second before it immediately clots.

Bone resprouts where it was shattered and then grows back down into the upper arm, forarm, palm and fingers, accompanied by cartiledge. Muscles and sinew follow immediately afterwards, and the skin, hair and nails finish it all off.

It only took 5 seconds, and it looked exactly the same as the arm he was currently holding.

"Much more durable, I'd say." he proclaims.

The first arm decays fast, turning to dust in a matter of seconds.

Knight looks at the blood that was starting to dry on his chest and hands and then looks back at Derik.

"What?" he asks casually.

Knight takes a breath. "Alright."

He chuckles and then simply reaches up and twists his head off like it's the top of a beer bottle.

Same deal with the blood: it sprays a little then immediately clots.

This time, Derik would see the spinal collum reconstruct itself, then his skull. From there, the cardiovascular system that carried blood from the heart to the brain would come back, and then the muscles and sinews followed after. The brain was being rebuilt at the same time, but luckily Derik couldn't see that. His eyes are reconstructed from the back to the front, so the optic nerve was visible for a brief ammount of time before the actual eye part was rebuilt. Skin crawls up the newly made muscle and everything, followed by all the hair, including eyebrows and eyelashes. Possibly the most disturbing part about the skin was the way it just oozed along everything and ended by forming the eyelids.

The whole process took about 15 seconds, which left Knight holding his detached head and with a new head. He'd crumpled pretty much immediately after he'd torn off his own head, so now he stood up.

Only one head blinks and functions.

"Pretty nifty and useful." he says casually.
