"Because humans are incompetent by definition..?" Lokai said slowly, thinking this was obvious. "Some are just stupider than others, though so far your only stupidity has been summoning me."
"Because humans are incompetent by definition..?" Lokai said slowly, thinking this was obvious. "Some are just stupider than others, though so far your only stupidity has been summoning me."
"Well, I don't think it was so stupid" she replied, shifting to get up and walk over to her.
"Does that mean you did it on purpose?" Lokai exclaimed, freaking out for a moment. If it wasn't accidental, then that meant she could get someone to…dispatch Lydia for her
“No, I just stumbled across a website and clicked a link” she replied
Lokai seemed to deflate a little at that. "Well, at least we have that established, I suppose," she sighed
"Why, did you want to be rid of me?" she asked, laughing nervously.
Lokai gave Lydia a sort of "of course" look. But she sighed, leaning back a little. "I do not like being bound to a stranger. It is humiliating."
"Huh, well. What bond do you want to full fill before you can leave?" she asked, knowing it had to be a big one.
"I don't want any bond," Lokai muttered bitterly. "I've never wanted to be bound to anyone, man or angel," she huffed
"Well, lucky for you I'm a woman" she replied, half joking and half being serious.
"I mean man like the species. I'm sorry if I offended any of your strange human gender roles," Lokai huffed. Why were humans so complicated like this? They were so odd
(How should we make them get along?)
(hm…maybe Lydia offers to slowly try and show Lokai the different cool things about humanity, and in the process they fall in love?)
(That sounds like a great idea!)
Lydia shook her head, looking back over to her computer. She flopped onto the bed and opened the laptop, scrolling through some tabs while exiting some all at once.
Lokai just sighed, sitting down on the edge of the bed and leaning back a bit, eventually giving up and laying down
Lydia opened a new tab, looking for good questions to ask a stranger.
Lokai had busied herself staring at the ceiling, arms folded beneath her head as she let her wings unfold
(I'm not gonna be on much for the night, sorry)
(it's alright)
