Noah shook his head. "I don't have anywhere to be. Unless you want me to go, I don't mind staying here and talking more." He sipped his water, his eyes cast down. He felt like he was being rejected.
Noah shook his head. "I don't have anywhere to be. Unless you want me to go, I don't mind staying here and talking more." He sipped his water, his eyes cast down. He felt like he was being rejected.
(ahh noo I made him sad)
"No, I really don't want you to go," Abaddon said, laughing nervously. "I just… can't tell whether somebody's just staying to be polite or if they actually want to be here."
Noah looked up. "No, I want to be here. If I didn't, I would be gone." He said with a smile. "So what else do you want know?"
"Well, you mentioned college a few times. What college did you go to?" He asked, curious.
(Shit, where they live?)
(idk just come up with a random place)
"Montana State University. What about you?" He asked after finishing his water.
He had to think of his answer for a moment. He'd gone to a few colleges, just for the hell of it. "Oregon State. Before I moved here," he said, sipping his coffee. It was warm now.
"What's your degree?" He asked. "Something in business? Since you're a COO?"
"I've got a bachelor's in economics," he said.
"So you're pretty good with math then?"
Abaddon shrugged. "Yeah, I kinda have to be."
Noah smiled. "That's cool. I suck at math. I had to take college algebra three times before I passed."
Abaddon made a face. "Wow, that must've been hell. I hate math."
Noah nodded. "It was absolute hell. I'm glad that I passed and put it behind me."
"I'm still stuck doing math, unfortunately. Managing finances requires some of that."
"I would be worried if you didn't use math to manage finances."
Abaddon chuckled, sipping his coffee again. "Yeah, that would cause a problem."
Noah giggled then blushed immediately. He had to stop doing that.
Abaddon noticed the blush on Noah's cheeks, causing him to blush as well. He cleared his throat and tried to ignore it, asking another question. "So, what did you go to college for?"
"Forensics. I like helping solve crimes and cutting people open doesn't bother me so I went for it. Now I'm just trying to find a job in forensics."
Abaddon raised his eyebrows. He didn't hear that often. "Well that's definitely interesting."
Noah shrugged bashfully. "Someone has to do it, and I kind of like it so why not?"
(yo is it okay if we move this to PMs?)
(Yeah)
