"maybe something without the sour? I don't think he likes sour foods all that much." He replied, finishing off his bowl of ramen with a satisfying sigh and settling back in his chairwith half of his drink left

"Alright, yeah. Do you think he'll like the one you had?" Simon finished his tea and pulled a noodle out of his bowl.

"Sure, the spice isn't too bad in this one. I think he'll like it." He agreed, a small smile on his features at seeing Simon finally eat a decent amount of the meal. He didntention anything about it, not wanting to fall into another argument, especially in public, or on their first date. "Any thoughts on dessert?" He asked, glancing over at the menu again to find something sweet

"Alright, cool," Simon said, tilting his head. "Well, they have rolled ice cream. It's pretty good, and they have lots of different flavors."

"this little place has everything huh?" Taz stood with his drink and empty bowl in hand to return the empty dish to the front. It also gave him a chance to look at the rolled ice cream options. He gaped slightly at all the options, many he wanted to try but knowing he was limited in options. "What do you recommend?" He asked, coming back to their table and sitting back down

"I think you'd like the strawberry. It comes with Pocky, too. Maybe the matcha as well? That's what I always get. Do you like matcha?" Simon watched Razielle in amusement.

"the strawberry sounds great, but then again I've never had matcha…" He mused, tapping a light finger against his chin. "Can you mix flavors?" He asked, ultamately undecided even between two choices.

"I mean. . . I think so? I've never tried but I'm sure they'd let you." Simon tipped his head. "Matcha kinda tastes like chocolate, if that influences your decision."

"Alright, I'll have to ask then." He took his now half empty cup of boba and took off the lid to get the the last few pearls at the bottom. "It does actually, that's a classic combination so if matcha tastes like chocolate then it should be great." He stood with his cup to go back into line "what do you want dear? I can order both and pay while I'm there."

"Dear, hmm?" Simon said with a slight smirk. "Matcha, please. With, uh, the vanilla syrup. Thank you, Raz."

Raz grinned "you're not the only who can use petnames." He teased, getting up from his seat and nodding. "Alright, I'll be right back with the dessert." He promised, bringing what little was left of his boba with him as he stood back in line to order the ice cream as well as Noah's food to take home

"Yeah, yeah," Simon said, returning Razielle's smile. He watched Razielle protectively, making sure he was okay as he went to get dessert.

Raz glanced around the cafe, both aware of his surroundings and to just enjoy the scenery. It made him feel cozy and warm. He eventually made his way to the front of the line and gave the cashier a small smile. Raz ordered Noah's ramen and drink first, then Simon's and his own ice cream rolls, as well as an extra boba for himself. Once the order was put in, Raz stepped off to the side to wait for the order and to watch as the chef behind the glass made their ice cream order
