"I don't think you're in a dungeon. I'm nowhere near the dungeon level and I can hear you."
"I don't think you're in a dungeon. I'm nowhere near the dungeon level and I can hear you."
"Ha, maybe I am locked up in a tower." He joked.
Gwen rounded a corner. "Or maybe you're in a room with bars at the front," She said, spotting Ethan on the floor in a room with iron bars as its fourth wall.
"That works too" He replied.
Gwen walked up while heating her hand. Going to the far wall, she ran her hand all along the bars, making them melt.
"Hey, could you take the dagger out of my shoulder."
"I could…" Gwen said looking at it. "But it's safer in there for the moment. It seems like the dagger is stopping you from bleeding."
"Yeah. but the minute you unshackle me it will begin to bleed from me moving my arm."
"Well then don't move your arm, dumb ass!" Gwen yelled, standing up. "Scooch forward a bit."
He moved forward a bit like she said and sat up.
"Don't move," Gwen ordered. She raised her sword and brought down on the chain between the two shackles, breaking it.
he didn't move at all.
Gwen knelt back down. "Now for this dagger," She said, more to herself. "I'm going to have to take it out slowly. If it tarts to bleed a lot, it's staying there."
"It would be easier if you pulled it out quick."
"That's how people die, idiot." Gwen stared at the dagger. She heated up her left hand to cauterise the wound once the dagger was out, then grabbed the handle of the dagger carefully with her right hand.
"well dying is definitely not the intention."
Gwen simply rolled her eyes and slowly started to pull the dagger out. She could still hear Liam and Raven arguing: they were safe for the moment. When she pulled the dagger out with no blood, she put her hand over Ethan's mouth because she didn't want him screaming from the pain. Before any surprise blood could pour from the wound, she slapped her hand over it.
He just stared at her.
After about a minute, Gwen took her hand away, revealing a cauterised wound. She ran some water over it with her hands, then stopped. "Do you hear that?" She asked, standing up.
"Hear what?"
Gwen started backing away. "Exactly. You can hear anything. What happened to Raven and Liam's arguing?"
"I don't know."
Gwen tried to listen. She backed into something, and her breath caught. She was in the same situation as before. Just this time, Ethan was here. "Hello again, Gwendolyn," Liam said, arm pinning Gwen's to her side. With a sword at her throat, he said "Drop it."
"Hey Liam my, Pal, Friend, Mate?eh no um DUDE LET MY FIANCE GO."
"Calm down, Ethan," Gwen ordered. "Liam, let me go. I can't help you with anything you want."
"Yes, yes you can. You just don't know it."
