Arthur sighed, closing his eyes to think.
Arthur sighed, closing his eyes to think.
He tried to relax, letting the cool air chill his nerves into a chill state.
Arthur moved to study him, his dark green eyes watching him carefully.
His own ice blue eyes flicked around the group restlessly. He couldn't focus, like usual.
Arthur continued to study him, fiddling with the violet and silver band on his left wrist.``
He sighed heavily and stared up at the sky. Where did it all go so wrong?
Arthur continued to watch, occasionally tugging at the band.
His eyes travelled from star to star, making a story out of each one. It just made him feel better.
Arthur finally sighed summoning a whisp of aura, and drawing pictures with it.
"Where did I go wrong?" He muttered to himself. "Why did things end up this way?"
Arthur listened, but didn't say anything.
"I mean, they certainly didn't start this way…" He trailed off, his words turning to incoherent mumbling.
Arthur continued to listen, picking out what he could.
The rest of the group seemed to ignore them, all doing their own thing. Ryder talked to himself a lot and by this point, they were used to it.
Arthur continued to listen in, more out of curiosity, than the usual habit.
He just stared at the sky and muttered to himself, running through the series of unfortunate events that led to him getting here at all.
Arthur winced at some of them, relating a little to hardship, though maybe not his exactly.
It only got worse as his stories went on, his mood visually dipping as they did.
Arthur frowned more and more as he listened, now trying to figure a way to snap him out of it.
He paused when his stories seemed to hit a nerve, his eyes glistening with unshed tears as he thought about everything he'd lost.
Arthur had scooted up next to him. He wanted to comfort the other, but he wasn't sure about boundaries.
He slid down the wall until he rested against the ground, his eyes never leaving the stars as he continued his tragic tale.
Arthur listened sadly, wishing he could comfort the other.
His stories finally came to a close as he came to the reality. He sighed quietly, snapping out of his thoughts.
Arthur was still watching him, wanting to make it all go away.
