"Okay Dad, no need to lecture me. I get that enough from my therapist and she knows I hate it."
"Okay Dad, no need to lecture me. I get that enough from my therapist and she knows I hate it."
"I wasn't gonna lecture you, I was just making sure you knew, that while I'm glad it's not something like anger issues, it's not something that should be okay… you know what I'm just gonna go before I seem like an idiot" he said, getting up to leave.
"And then there were two." She settled back on the couch, curling up on herself slightly.
Rio sighed, "Sorry about him," he said.
"It's no big deal, it doesn't bother me." She shrugged, shooting him an apologetic smile.
Rio sighed, "I have a feeling you two will be bff's or enemies.
"I'm hoping friends because it'd be really awkward if we were enemies."
"I think you'll end up being both." He said.
"Hey, it's better than nothing."
Rio laughed. "This is true."
She smiled a little, laying her head on his shoulder. "This is nice."
Rio smiled too, "yeah.."
Her eyes glanced back at the movie. "Ugh, I don't like this part. The romance is too forced, you can tell the actors don't have chemistry." She frowned a little.
Rip glanced up, and almost immediately gagged. "Hoo by, that is way too forced.."
"Told you so." She chuckled.
Rio sighed, "Whelp, the movie is good as a whole…"
"It tries. It really does."
Rio nodded, "still not my cup of tea"
"Yeah, not really mine either. This is the only part I don't like."
"Wanna watch a different movie?" he asked.
"Sure, why not?" She shrugged.
Rio got up and switched off the movie, opening another small cupboard full of movies.
"Something with an actual plotline, please." She flopped back, staring at the ceiling.
Rio nodded, finally digging out another movie. "How about this?"
She glanced over at the title. "Hmm…nah, not today."
