"I'll keep that in mind, for sure." She said softly, studying the lines of his face with drowsy eyes as she traced patterns on the back of his shoulder. She was always careful to keep away from his neck. "M. I ate more last night than I have eaten in a good while, so I am not too hungry. Likely, Malakai went hunting last night. He is a nocturnal creature, after all. I could always ask him, and so could you."
He smiled softly and chuckled lightly at her words. “In that case I’m not getting up. I want lay here all day today.” He knew that was wishful thinking. He wouldn’t be able to lay around all day. His guild needed him.
Of course he Shah and her small circle to help with repairs and figure out how to split new supplies equally, but he was needed for the bigger things.
“All day seems a bit much, but maybe we can for a while.” Amira mused, closing her eyes and settling down again, fingers still tracing their patterns. “Just lay here, in the quiet.”
(Sorry I kinda died today. I’m doing better now.)
Her soft tracing drew a low sigh from his lips which parted in a relaxation he quite enjoyed. “I would love to do so all day. I’m so tired.”
“Then go back to sleep, hallaski.” She said with a soft laugh, nudging his leg with her foot. “I am sure your people would rather have a rested and alert leader than a tired and half dead leader.”
He smiled sleepily, laughing as he gave her a soft nudge in return. “For that to happen I’d have to sleep for the next three days.” He mused, opening his eyes to study her soft features. “I am much more content with laying here and speaking with you, Amira.”
"We can arrange you sleeping for three days." She muttered, arching a brow and wrinkling her nose despite her closed eyes. "You would really rather lay here, speaking with me, than get any rest you can?" She asked, sounding slightly incredulous.
“I couldn’t leave my guild that long. They need me.” He murmured softly, smiling as her nose scrunched. Cute…
“Of course I’d rather speak with you than sleep. I like to speak with you, Amira. Your company is just as good as any rest I could get.” Nordali was only speaking his mind. To him her company was comfort and peace, but he wasn’t sure how she viewed his company.
“I am glad you enjoy my company as much as I enjoy yours, then.” She said, the corners of her mouth lifting into a small smile. Small, but warm and soft. “Though I highly doubt mine is better than a nap.”
He laughed good-heartedly and brought her hand to his lips to kiss it softly. “I much prefer yours to a nap.” He wouldn’t tell her he couldn’t sleep during the day. Not while the sun was up and things were to be done. No, he’d let her think he could nap. Maybe that would make her not worry for him as much.
“Why don’t we get up and I’ll show you around camp?”
She flushed as he kissed her hand, eyes popping open as she looked up at him. At the mention of getting out of bed, she made a face, but nodded. “Fine, fine. We probably should get up. I would gladly accept that tour, though.”
He chuckled weakly. “It’s one to say and another to actually move. I don’t want to get up either, Amira, but we do have things to do, unfortunately.” He groaned lightly. “I really don’t want to get up.
She pouted for a moment, brows furrowed as she studied his face, before suddenly wrapping her arms around him and snuggling into him. "Five more minutes. Then we get up and face the world."
He gasped lightly as she hugged him suddenly, amusement in his eyes. He wrapped his arms around her as well and laughed gently. “Five more minutes is alright with me.”
She buried her face in his chest, hiding the red in her cheeks, but smiling happily. "Good. We can lay here five more minutes. Tell me something. Anything. I just want to listen to you talk."
“Anything hm?” He wracked his brain for something to say, sighing softly. “I guess I could complain about the sunlight coming in through the tents folds. I’m a little annoyed by how bright it is. I’d rather be sleeping here still, with you in my arms just like this.”
"With me-" She pulled away just enough to look up at him, still holding onto him like she really didn't want to ever let go. Cheeks red, she shot him a small smile. "I would too. But alas, the sun has other ideas in mind."
(Ah Sorry my dude I need to sleep. I’ve been staying up late studying for an exam I have tomorrow. I think tonight is sleep night. Goodnight! Be safe! I’ll answer when I can!!)
Nordali stared back at her, grinning brightly at her words. “What a rotten being. The sun doesn’t quite like the thought of us sleeping in. Heaven forbid it.” He chuckled lightly and shook his head in amusement. “But moving is a different t story. The sun can’t make us move.”

"Are you saying you would rather stay right here, with the sun in your face, just to spite the being creating the light?" Amira asked, scrunching her nose up in obvious amusement. She was biting her lip, doing her best not to start laughing at that.
(Thannkskss! I did decent. It was stressful. But I’m okey now.)
“Exactly. I will defy the sun.” He huffed, grinning playfully at her. He nuzzled into her and let a small laugh trickle from his lips. “I spite all the celestial beings I can.”

"What a strange goal." She commented with a tiny giggle-like sound, nuzzling back. "And what a strange man you are, toe to toe with beings of unimaginable power and unwilling to move."
(I’m alive man. Thought I died.)
“They’ll have to strike me down. Which I’m sure they can easily. But I like to be stubborn. I survived the monarchs of my kingdom, I feel like I can survive many more. It’s just a matter of testing the waters.” He hummed, looking at Amira with soft eyes.
She hummed thoughtfully, arching an eyebrow at him and flushing slightly at the soft look in his eyes. "I don't suppose you need any help opposing these gods and deities? Two is better than one, even if it doesn't mean too much to a heavenly being."
“Oh I think I need someone to help me… I don’t suppose you know anyone?” He replied with that cheesy grin of his, the arrogance and pride finding its way back in his eyes for a moment. “I’m sure with you by my side I could beat any being.”
“Mmm, I may.” She said, eyes sparkling with a playfulness to match his arrogance. “I highly doubt I’d be that effective, or useful, but I can try my hardest. Who knows, maybe we could win by each other’s side.”
