"You're very considerate to a leader of theives, my lady. I hope to tie up the loose ends I have, and so I'm not ready to leave quite yet. I do adore my guild." He brought a hand up to gently set it on her arm, humming happily at her touch. He wished he had had the guts to ask her for more of the tracing while they had been drifting off to sleep. "Sounds lovely. Lets visit the best ones. And explore quite a few too!"
"We will go anywhere and everywhere, hallaski. We will see the world on our own terms." She used the hands on his face to draw his head down, so that she could press her lips to his. Keeping her lips close, she continued speaking. "We could visit my homeland, and I can show you the beautiful deserts and mountains of my home, the ocean on the coast. You would love the animals we have there."
More kisses were given in return, his eyes slipping half-closed. Nordali would always remember her soft touch and loving kisses. They felt good.
“I do love animals. They’re much kinder than humans and elves and Fae.” He chuckled lightly, kissing her softly. “I want to show you my home as well. The trees grow taller than mountains and thicker than giant’s legs, and the food is amazing.”
"I do love good food when I can get it." Amira joked, lips finding the corner of his mouth and lingering there. "And trees. I never saw many of them growing up, boty because of where I lived and my mother refusing to allow me outside half the time. They are so much fun to climb."
“Food is amazing. It’s the best part of a culture in my opinion. Well, next to music.” He chuckled lightly, bringing his hands up to tangle them in her hair. “I haven’t climbed too many trees for fun so I cant say, but it does seem delightful.”
"That was one of the first things I did when I left. And it really is incredible." She said, leaning into his hand with a hum. "So freeing. And it feels like you can see the whole world. Sometimes I will find a large tree to climb, and just sit for a while in its branches. A very underestimated past time. You should try it with me some time."
“Sounds absolutely thrilling. I would love to join you sometime.” Nordali pressed a lingering kiss to her lips before smiling and pulling her into his chest for a soft hug.
Amira wrapped her arms around his shoulders, happily returning the hug. She tucked her face into his chest, grinning stupidly. “We can make a day of it. Or a night. Night would be more fun. We could look at the stars and fall asleep together in the trees.”
He chuckled, playing with her hair. “As long as you promise you won’t let me fall then I’d rather enjoy something like that. The stars are always gorgeous.” Nor couldn’t wipe the smile from his face. If loving someone was this good he didn’t want it to end. Maybe marriage and relationships weren’t so bad.
