(Hi, Otto sent me to see if I could take over for her, and to make sure that Cassia doesn't die to soon. that is, if it's ok with you guys.)
(Yep, that's fine)
(sweet)
( @Kidd-Kat , I just need you to respond to the starter, introducing Cassia in the throne room and such)
(I'm back y'all)
(Ok. I was thinking I should make a group chat that way we can figure this stuff out without putting it on here.)
(Ok, that's good with me)

Cassia looked up at the pharaoh when he started talking, but soon lost interest in what he was saying. She looked around at the different decorations, she fiddled with her belt, then when she was just about to wonder off, a guard came and ushered her to what she assumed was her room. It was ok, but like almost all things, it lost her interest. So she left her room and finding no guards outside, she went to explore.
Bast was wandering the palace thinking. She had gotten up in a bad mood. Her father was her only ally and there was her brother just taking over like nothing had happened. Turning around the corner she found a girl who seemed to be about 13. Bast put on a cold expression and looked at her, "Who are you and what do you think you're doing?" Bast relied on that fact that she looked like someone not to be messed with.
Cassia turned around to see who had spoken to her, but seeing as it wasn’t a guard but rather just a lady who looked like she thought she looked scary, she turned back to the plant she was playing with and continued to fidget with the leaves. “My name’s Cassia, and I think I’m playing with this here plant.” She replied with a fairly good amount of snark in her voice.
Bast was surprised. Not only did this girl, who was one inch smaller than her, was brave but taking that kinda tone with a royal. Unacceptable. Bast took a deep breath in a put a fake smile on her face. She would be nice for now. "Pardon me Cassia, I was in a bad mood. Nice to meet you. Perhaps you allow me to introduce myself?" She stopped smiling, pointed to jeweled crown, and pulled out a dagger she always kept with her. "I'm Princess Bast and unless you give a good explanation I'm going to slit your throat."
Sighing, Cassia turned back around to look at the princess. “Forgive me your highness, for I was unaware of you royal position.” Cassia Bowed than continued speaking.
”And as for an explanation, I do not know where I was unclear in my statement. I am to my knowledge playing with this plant. Would you rather I tell a lie and say something about me not being able to find a particular someone or something? Would that please your grace?”
Bast couldn't help it but she liked this young one. Her bravery and honesty was nice for a change. Putting the dagger away she smiled a true smile though small. "You are forgiven and please take my apology for threatening you. I've been very jumpy these days." She looked around and suddenly thought of something. "Are you the girl that's going with us? If so, your awfully late." Though Bast said it with amusement.
Cassia smiled “Your not the first to threaten me with a knife, so it’s okay. And I’d hope that I am going with you, otherwise I’d be trust-passing.” Cassia widened her smile in an attempt to get Bast to widen her’s.
“Wait, I’m late, for what?” Her smile dropped to worry. ”I must admit that I wasn’t paying attention to your brother yesterday, that is part of why I am utterly lost.”
