Cameron set down a half-made knife mold, rising and grabbing his cold tea and plate. And a few other dishwares he had stored up. He carried them out of his forge, forgetting there was still another human in the apartment with him.
Sam could hear loud noises coming from the hallway, and perplexed, opened the door to stick his head out. Cameron, the guy from earlier passed with his arms full of dishes,, seeming to have emerged from a room at the end of the hall, one that hadn't been included in Sol's tour. He left his room, approaching his teammate. "Need any help?"
Cameron jumped and glared down at whatever had done so.
“Oh. You. No, I’m fine.” He trotted past, dumping his dishes in the sink and looking around for something to snack on.
Sam ignored the urge to retreat back into his room, since he clearly wasn't wanted, instead electing to slip his hands into his pockets and follow the guy into the kitchen. You've got to work with him, so make friends with him.
Cameron glanced over his shoulder with a huff. “What? I’m just getting something to eat and going back to work.”
"I was just wondering what I did to make you mad at me?" Sam ventured, leaning casually against the counter and pretending as if his stomach wasn't in knots.
“I just don’t like new people,” He growled as he pulled out another box of tea and Cheeze-its.
He's…. Aggressive.. Cameron's personality evidently seemed to contrast with Sam's, or at least that's what he'd gathered after their brief interactions. "Can I ask.. Why?"
Cameron set down another mug on the counter, which shook when he pulled his large hand away from it.
“There are too many people to attempt to be nice to.”
Seth snorted. "Why should I do that?" he fired back. "What do you even want from me?" Seth was feeling less and less trusting and friendly to the woman. But he did know one thing: She was a force higher than the law, someone who couldn't get caught because they did their job just oh too well. She knew every crook and nookie of the criminal world. Seth just couldn't pinpoint which catergory she belonged in.
"C'mon now…" he cooed. "This is your game, beautiful. You've gotta name a price before I can tell you if I can match it."
"Ah." Sam nodded in understanding. "Do you want me to leave you alone, then..?"
“I don’t care what you do.” But Cameron’s tone suggested he did indeed care.
"Yeah, okay, I'll leave you be," Sam sighed, turning towards the door.
(heart breaks for Sam.)("Be NICE" Luca aggressively whispers to Cam.)
(Oof)
I'm really busy so I can't post right now, but know that Sol is glaring at Cam being mean to the smol boi from her seat in the heavens))
Casey sighed. Seth was not proving to be much more tasteless than she had thought he would be. It was a shame, she was hoping he would have lived up to her expectations. Though she supposed that thinking was naive. "Would a billion dollars be enough to get you to play?" She met his eyes, challenging him.
(Lol is Sol dead?)
"I don't need you're stupid one when I have my own." He snapped, his words sharp and harsh. Seth had to take a deep breath before he lost it completely. Apparently, this woman wasn't as smart as she let up to be. "What do you need me for is what I meant. What might you have me do for you? Do you need someone dead, blackmailed, fire, kidnapped, threatened, bribed, connected, informed of something, what?" he snapped his fingers three times. "That's what I want to know."
Casey's hand flashed up and she grabbed Seth's finger's in an iron grip. Her face remained perfectly calm as she looked at him. Her voice was calm as well. "I need connections and information. I would also like to see how your skills play out in circumstances you are not used to. Your ability to blend in, find information without being suspected. What do you think?" Her grip on his hand never loosened and neither her voice nor her face conveyed that this way anything other than a friendly conversation.
Seth's handsome lips curled into a smile of foxy amusement. Oooo, she test~ He thought, his head tilting to the side a bit. She brought the hand over his up to his lips and pressed a kiss to it. "It's alright, no need for the uncivilized actions, beautiful. You need me… I see, but what for?" He yanked his hand away vigorously, flexing it a few times once it was out of her grasp.
(I ship it so bad)
(Lol is Sol dead?)
No, she just is an absolute goddess. I mean, she does have the body of a god.))
