"No, I believe that is it," Casey said, not entirely knowing how she felt about Julie. "Send in your brother, please, would you?" she asked, after taking a sip from her teacup.

"Of course. Thank you," she replied warmly, feeling a buzz settle in her veins. *Hope I did well… * Julie exited, waving forward Sam, who was still sitting on the couch. "Your turn." Sam nodded and slipped in past her, clearly anxious.

Casey stood as Sam slipped through her office door. "Ah, Samuel, please, have a seat. Or should I call you Sam?" she asked, walking towards the little table with the tea and gesturing towards the empty chair in front of her desk.

"Sam's fine," he answered, voice a little quieter than usual as he took a seat.

"Lovely," Casey said. "Would you like tea or coffee?" she asked, standing by the small table.

“Tea, please.” Sam scratched unconsciously at the skin of his wrist. Don’t screw this up….

“Neither,” he replied, then realized how impolite he was beginning to sound and hastened to add on. “Please.”

Casey brought him the cup and set it down in front of him. "There you are." She sat down in her chair. "So, Sam. Tell me about yourself."
