(Lol Eris)
Julie nodded, taking a seat as she’d been instructed to. Sam followed, a mask of calm placed firmly on his face, one that only she could see through. “What should we call you, miss?” she inquired politely, folding her hands in her lap. Her brother shifted next to her, crossing his ankles.
(OH SHOOT here she comes)
It was certainly early for Luca to be up and strutting around, but there she was walking down the hall like a Victoria Secret model in just her undies. This was a common occurrence at the apartment when Luca spent the night. The woman honestly had confidence to spare when it came to her body.
This morning though was a little different though, the way her stormy eyes glittered, she looked like the cat that caught the bird. Caught the bird several times that is. She turned to the kitchen after exiting the hallway, not noticing the meeting that was going on in the living room. Her long blonde locks caught the morning sun, a vision of pure seduction.
"Good Morning Boss!" She called, knowing Casey would be awake. "I'm making tea would li–"
Two strangers were sitting on their couch staring at her.
"Well…Good Morning." She purred.
Sam’s eyes widened as the mask of calm was torn right off his face, exposing cheeks roughly the same hue as a tomato. He tore his gaze away, glueing to the wall as his heart pounded, drumming out irregular, chaotic rhythms. “Good— Good morning—“ he stammered, clearly incredibly nervous in the face of such an attractive— almost naked— woman.
Julie, on the other hand, gave a smirk, a faint blush dusting her cheeks as she elbowed her brother in the ribs. “Good morning, I’m Julie. Nice to meet you.”
Casey whipped her head around. Upon seeing Luca she rubbed her forehead, exasperated. "Luca, would you please put some clothes on? We have guests, as you can see."
Luca placed her elbows on the counter top and leaned toward the siblings, further showing off her assets and ignoring Casey.
"I'm Luca. Luca Winchester." She paused, considering how much she should say before disregarding it entirely. Casey would let her know what was going on in a moment.
Her sharp eyes catching the apparent nervousness of both of the strangers. The boy was certainly a mess, but had eyes as steady and clear as a summer day. Where as the girl seemed a bit too composed. Intelligence oozed off them, but again Luca's eyes lingered on the boy. Not that she was attracted to him, not with Cameron in her bed keeping it warm, but there was something she couldn't quite place yet. Hmmm…
"Would you like some tea? I have a rather–special–blend for early risers."
Sam opened his mouth to reply, but nothing came out. Sweat glistened on his forehead as the woman— Luca— leaned forward and spoke to him. It wasn’t that he was attracted to her, but the sight of a woman in nothing but underwear was enough to blow his composure completely.
Julie elbowed him again. “Excuse my brother,” She paused at the word, tucking a strand of blond hair behind her ear, kneeling that they looked nothing alike. One look and people could tell she wasn’t completely white, despite her hair, however one look at Sam did the opposite. “He’s a bit of a mess in front of girls. What he means to say is that his name is Sam, and he would very much like some tea, thank you.”
Sol wakes up hella early))
Sol walked into the room, hair wet and a lavender towel wrapped around her. She glanced at Luca in her underwear, which wasn't news to her. "Hey do you have your hairbrush? It's way better than mine." She she took survey of the rest of the room, realizing there was a rather red faced boy and a girl on the couch speaking with Casey. "Oh there's people here. Hey." She waved before realizing she was wearing nothing but a towel. "Oh. Oh well," she said, barely caring. She turned back to Luca. "Can you brew me some coffee?"
"There's a pot on the stove," Casey said, now pinching the bridge of her nose. She looked up at Sol and Luca. "May I talk to you both for a moment in the spare bedroom, please?"
Luca hummed, catching more clues as the girl spoke, filing it away for later. She'd report to Casey after they'd left. "Excellent!" she said straightening. "One moment please while I talk to my boss."
She gave them a lovely smile as she executed several perfect backbends and flips over to were Marcie had done their laundry. She pulled one of Cam's shirts, which really didn't do much in the way of covering her, but she shrugged. It didn't matter now.
(I edited my previous post to say spare bedroom)
"Great." Casey looked at Samuel and Julie. "Please excuse me for a moment, I'll be right back." She walked briskly into the spare bedroom, holding the door open for Luca and Sol to file in behind her.
Sliding back down the hall and into the spare room Luca looked over at Casey.
"Head's up a little next time, Boss?" '
She leaned down to stretch as she spoke, surprised to find herself a little sore.
Julie waited until the three people— possibly her future teammates— filed out the door, and immediately burst out into quiet, but incredibly amused laughter. “Sam!” she scolded, a teasing note laced through the name. “You looked like you were about to combust, oh my god.”
"What did you want to talk about, Casey?" Sol asked, then looked to Luca. "You know I have a lot of huge shirts in there. You could've grabbed one of those instead of your crush's, but hey, whatever."
(Oh my god Eris)
"I apologize, I only found out they were coming over in the dead of night." Casey looked at Sol. "I assumed you were sleeping." She looked at Luca. "And I know what you were doing, and didn't think you should be disturbed." Casey took a deep breath. "Something . . . happened to Lane last night. I'm not entirely sure what yet, but whatever it was, it was bad, and he won't be joining our team for quite some time. Obviously, I needed someone to replace him for tech and hacker things, and all the things I will admit I do not understand. Julie and Samuel Carlson are brother and sister and I will be interviewing them each separately to figure out which will be the better match. I have had an incredibly long night and I would like you to not disturb them, or offer them anything. I know that may seem rude, but that is my duty as host and the person who called them here. Now, will you both please put on some clothes and not disturb the two of them too much?"
Luca turned an impassive gaze on Sol, a smirk twitched across her lips, but she stayed silent about everything that happened the night before between her and Cam. "His smell better." She said the lit in her voice making her sound teasing.
Luca's smirk fell from her face in a flash. "Goddamit Lane." She hissed, slamming a fist into the wall. She fought back her tears. Casey didn't say the word "dead", but the way she refused to meet Luca's eyes told her everything she needed to know.
"Something… happened to Lane?" Sol asked, but knew from Casey's tone it wasn't something she'd share a lot of detail about. She got the gist. "Yeah, I can go get dressed. I'm always an early riser."
Sam flushed beet red, shoving at his sister’s shoulder. “Julie!” His protests were in vain. “Oh, I am never letting you forget this… oh god this is priceless..”
"I know, I should have anticipated that, but such is life. No harm was done." Casey ran her hand through her hair and sighed. "Now, unless you two need anything from me, I'm going to go back out and talk to our guests."
Luca nodded, turning out and away to go back out to the hall. "I'll be in my room." She said numbly, disappearing behind her door.
(oh no casey made luca sad twice)
