The place where he kissed her hand sent a tingling sensation along Kendalla's hand "uhm…my mom's us Persepbone, and my dad is Hades. People think I'm the daughter of. Demon kind who forced his wife to be with him which isn't true."

“Oh wow..” he tilted his head, “Daughter Of Hades and Persephone, does that make you immortal?” He brought his hand back to his cloak. Whether she was immortal or not didn’t matter to him. Only if she were mortal it might have caused more of an issue.

She shrugged "yeah, but they don't know that." She jerked her head to the village below "that or don't care." Kendalla sighed and glanced up at him "so what about you? How's the high life in olympus, hm?"

“Eh, it’s overrated.” He laughed, waving a hand as if brushing something away, “Down with the mortals is way more interesting. Not everyone is so uptight, I’ve found.”

"no, just stubborn and stuck up." She grumbled "they think they're better than everyone…why can't they be happy and grateful for what they have instead of course.plain about what they don't?"

“Your experience with them is unfortunate.” He frowned, “My experience is different, but we probably converse with different people.”

She smiled "are you assuming that just because I decide to live as a mortal, means I converse o ly with those that are of lower standing that gods?" She teased, knowing she could very well be punished for it but not caring too much

“Well, assuming that as soon as you realized I was the Shiloh you fell to your knees, I am assuming you don’t spend much time with people like me.” He chuckled, “Am I wrong, o eroménos mou?”

"and that is exactly why I don't conversate with those like you, sweet words and arrogant remarks will get you nowhere." She joked lightly, turning away from him to glance at the landscape again

“Ah” he winced, “I guess I can’t blame you. But I promise if you get to know us it won’t be so painful to try and see us attempt to flirt.” He laughed, letting his arms relax to his sides and looking around too, “Zeus is far worse than me and I’m intense.”

She nodded "yeah, I've heard he can be a bit much sometimes. You're not so bad, at least from what I've experienced since talking to you now."

“Really? I’ll have to try harder, then.” He humored, taking a couple steps closer to her, “I like you, Kendalla, I like you a lot.”

She raised an eyebrow but stood her ground "oh really? And why might that be? Because my outward appearence is appealing? Well I'm sorry to say but you're in line of a million guys who've said they liked me without getting to know me personally. God or not, I'm not falling in that spiral storm." Oh bit you've already fallen, you're plummetting. And you love it… She rolled her eyes and smiled "I'm sure you have a line waiting for you as well, Eros." She teased

Shiloh’s expression twisted into a cheeky grin, “You’re not mistaken, I do have somewhat of a line waiting for me. And I know I don’t know you well but from the first impression of your personality…I like it..very much indeed,” he attempted a purr, but failed.

She laughed and sat down on the grass "then why waste your precious time talking with me when you have a line waiting?"she asked "I'm not worth your time."she glanced down at the ground, hating how true those words felt. She ran her hand along the grass

Shiloh sat down in the grass beside her, “I’m so bad at this..” he chuckled, “But you are worth my time.” He looked down to the ground, “But I can ask the same question to you: if you have a line waiting too, why are you still here talking to me?” He hoped that didn’t sound accusatory, he just wanted to know if she at least liked him a little bit, if there was a chance.

"Right, the son of the Goddess of love is bad at flirting. I find that very hard to believe." She glanced up at him a d blushed "I'm glad Im worth someone's time. Especially yours." She brushed her hair behind her ear "you're comfortable to be around. Easy to talk to, and not bad to look at if I may dare say." She said, trying her hand at flirting

“Oo, saucy.” He wiggled his eyebrows and laughed, “I’m not so much bad as I try too hard. But…can I tell you something that can sound like flattery but isn’t? It’s more of a warning than anything.”

"I can be if I want to. And sure, I'll listen if you want to tell." She said, giving Shiloh her full attention

His composure became serious, and he looked her in the eyes for sincerity, “My mother, Aphrodite, as you know, prides herself in her beauty. She gets very, very jealous when she sees other prettier than her. She isn’t necessarily bad, but when she gets jealous, things don’t end well. And I’m worried that she might think you’re worth her worry. And I don’t know what she’ll do this time..”

Kendalla stared at him in shock "I'm not worthy Aphodites attention, she can stop worrying." She rubbed her arms again, getting anxious. "Mom and dad won't be happy about that one…"

His expression fell, “I’m sorry, I’ve just seen it happen before, I hope you don’t have to worry! I just, just wanted to warn you. I didn’t mean offense, I promise—“

She snapped her head up "no! No you didn't offend me! I'm actually fine with it. It's just that no one has threatened me before. Thank you for warning me." She said, giving him a hopeful smile

“Ah,” he relaxed, his smile returning “You’re welcome, Kendalla, I’ll try to keep my mother from you and your family. She doesn’t like Hades very much anyway.”

She smiled, glad to see the return of his gorgeous smile "Thank you. And not many people like my dad but he's really not a terrible person. He's just misunderstood."

“Can’t say I’ve met him.” He lifted his arms above his head to stretch, “So I’ll take your word for it until I do, and learn he’s just an awkward flirt like me.” He joked, “Only he’d only flirt with Persephone, of course.”

She snorted a laugh and shook her head "oh he's flirted with others before, believe me. But mom's the only one that truely caught his attention."

Shiloh tilted his head back with an open mouthed smile, “Hah! The flirt.” He tilted his head back down, “But anyway, that’s adorable..how your mom caught his attention.”

He laughed and nodded "yeah, " she glanced at him "so what about your family? How did oh great Herme's fall for Aphrodite?"

“Um..” he looked up to the sky to think, “It’s a crazy story, really. Hermès fell in love with my mom because of her beauty, but my mom wouldn’t let him love her and she rejected him. So Zeus took pity of Hermès and decided to help him. He had an eagle steal her sandal while she bathed and then took it to Hermès. So she went to Hermès to get the sandal back and Hermès seduced her in exchange for her sandal back. So that’s how I came to be.”
