Alex spotted the loud group of people, he went closer. He’d found him. “Landyn!” He yelled, pushing through the people.
He sat there shaking trying to ignore the group of people
“Landyn…” he said breathlessly, having finally reached him. “I’m sorry…”
He curled up even more. "T-Too many people…"
“Come on, lets get out of here. It’s gonna be okay” he whispered reassuringly
"I-I…" He covered the top of head
“Please Landyn…” he offered his hand.
Landyn slowly grabbed his hand still having the other above his head.
“Come on then” he said softly, gently pulling Landyn up onto his feet.
Landyn looked away and nooded.
Alex shoved through the group of people. Honestly this is why he hated everyone, couldn’t they see that the last thing Landyn needed was their crowding.
He never looked at Alex. "Sorry…" he said clearly still crying.
“It’s my fault…I was the one that pushed you…I’m so sorry Landyn.” He felt tears building in his eyes and did his best to keep them in.
He shook his head wiping his face
They were away from the people by now and Alex stopped. “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry” he kept quietly repeating.
"Can you please stop apologizing…It's not your fault…I made it where I pushed a question onto you and then it backfired and I was an idiot and now I hate myself…God dangit." he started screaming at himself. 'Idiot.'
Alex was…confused, everything was supposed to be his fault. His whole life he’d always been the problem. He opened his mouth to say something, probably apologize again but no words came out.
"I should have kept my stupid mouth shut…God, I'm an idiot…" he said crying again.
Alex flinched at hearing Landyn beat himself up “Landyn it’s okay, it’s gonna be okay.”
He shook his head. "I just met you and I feel like my whole world revolves around you." He laughs awkwardly. "Now you realize why everyone hates me…And why I can't speak to people…" he falls to the ground. "I can see why you can't trust me…"
“I don’t hate you…” he mumbled, slowly sitting down next to him. “And to be honest, I trust you more than I’ve trusted anyone in 2 years.”
Landyn just sat there. "Still I'm acting like an idiot…"
“You’re not an idiot for just trying to have an honest conversation.”
"…Did you not realize what I said like five minutes ago?"
“It’s okay” he said firmly, honestly not sure which part Landyn was referring to. He wanted to forgive him either way.
