Grey was loping along the moonlit forest floor, sniffing after the trail of a rogue welp from the back. His orders were to track the pup down and return him to the pack, but first Grey had to find him. How long will this take?
He pauses, and his ears perk up, having heard the sound of leaves being crushed underfoot. He sniffs the air warily, and the fur along his back bristles. Vampire.

asra walked easily in his favorite spot along the forest. watching the stars pass and a smaller pup run by him "?"
Grey starts sniffing around, then huffs. Not my problem. The welp is my problem.
He continues running, then catches up to the pup. He catches it up in his mouth, then chuckles wolfishly. Thank Luna and astra.
Slowly, he makes his way back to the pack. Over the next few weeks, each of the pack members but him fall ill and die. In the end, he's the only one left. Slowly, he makes his way away from the pack grave, and runs directly into a vampire. He tilts his head, curious.
asra jumped back a bit "oh .. hello.." he said softly, leaning down "hungry?" he asked and offered a piece of meat
Grey tilts his head and huffs. It's been a long time since I've assumed human form. I'm going to stay like this a while longer, though.
Cautiously, like a real wolf, he walks forward and sniffs Asra's hand, then takes the meat and chews, then swallows. He looks up with his luminous silver eyes, knowing that Asra would think him an unusually intelligent wolf instead of guessing what he was: a werewolf.
" wheres your pack?" he asked as a stupid question like it would answer. his fangs visible from talking. " are you lost?"
Grey shakes his head, indicating he had no pack. If only he knew.
asras eyes opened " im sorry," he mumbled and pulled a baggie of food from his side bag " here, you need it more than me." he said
Grey nudges it, then looks up. He snorts. I can't open it, and it's plastic. And besides, I don't actually need it.
He picks it up and places it back in Asra's hand, then turns in a circle and lopes away, indicating Asra should follow.
asra takes the bag and nods " where are you going bud?" he asked and followed quickly. asra watched as he was taken to a place he didn't know " where… where are we?"
Grey gives Asra a wolfish smile, then enters a nearby cave. A recent kill was in there, and Grey laid down in front of it, tearing into it. Oh, thank Luna. I needed food, and I can't go to another pack. So, I'm stuck with the vamp now.
asra carefully sat at the edge of the cage "you someone to be here don't you "
Grey looks up and cocks his head, one ear perked forward. He gets up from his meal and trots over to Asra, nudging tha vampire's hand with his nose.
asra smiled and scratches behind his ears " god your fur is soft"
Grey gives Asra a lazy look, and manages to laugh. Luna above, that feels good.
He knocks against Asra's thigh, knocking Asra down from his perch on accident. He gives an apologetic and pulls Asra back up.
(Btw, Grey is 6 feet long from nose to tail, and larger than the average Shetland pony, at about 5.5 feet tall. He's huge.)
asra is laughing when hes pulled up, " easy bud," he joked. he continued to pet the wolf, putting his forehead on the others. " you seem so tame around me, and it's honestly amazing.."
Grey grins, then walks a circle around Asra, sniffing him. He looks up with baleful eyes.
You have pets. he seems to say.
asras eye widened a bit, " a small rabbit" he answered almost a whisper
Grey snorts, shaking his head.
I can smell it, you know, he thinks. And even though you think me wild, I have no urge to maul random little animals. Besides, it wouldn't be a very good meal.
His eyes relay the gist of his words, and the wolf's face looks amused.
" so if i brought you home, you would not hurt thumper?" he asked and tilted his head
Grey grins and nods, an oddly human gesture.
asra had hardly noticed " ill sleep here with you tonight and ill take you back tomorrow night.. How's that?"
