Luckily, she did, manipulating the shadow around her to stop the plane before it hit her. She knew who sent it and instead of looking at or reacting to him, she just crushed the plane in the shadow and kept walking. That's what you get for playing with me.
Elias knew she was ignoring him. So he kept on walking too. But he kept walking right beside her. Every now and then looking over to her. Usually, people go along with his little jokes and such. But not her… But it was fine, he could beak her.
May just wanted to be left alone with her shadows. It was an easy request but this guy seemed persistent. I mean she could just winnow away, but she'd already done that once and was starting to get a headache. Sighing, she turned to the guy next to her, "What do you want?"
"heh, you got me, i am that cat!"
He said, with a bright smile on his face.
"And you see….. life can be a little lonely…. so i thought you would make a good friend!"
His gorgeous green eyes darting around the room, then back at her.
She sighed, ruffling her blonde hair for some form of distraction, "And what if I want to be alone?" She asked, turning and looking up at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh im sorry….. "
He said, his eyes looking a bit sad now. He looked around, and in a puff of smoke, came a wolf. Its fur looking almost exactly like the cats, except fluffier. Running down the hallway, his paws were soft as a newborn, the pads gently landing on the floor with every step.
ill figure out something!
May sighed, wrapping her arms around her middle. Maybe she should have let him stay, she did need at least one friend. She knew she didn't have another class for a while so she left the school building, heading to a small alcove in the gardens around the school, sitting in the shade.
Running around the school, stopping at his next class. Sitting through the class, an extremely boring class. While all of the students flood the halls, smiling, saying hello to everyone he passes. Escaping to outside. He didn't really want anyone to be around, but there she was. Sitting in the shade. Did she just get here, or has she been here ever since last class?
A cat walking into the little garden, sitting right in front of her.
"And how long have you been here?"
His voice purred to her. Around the flowers, in the garden. His bright eyes beaming right at her.
She'd been playing with a shadow, letting it twist round her arms and fingers and hadn't noticed him until he spoke. She jumped, the shadow disappearing as she did so. May leaned back against the tree, "Since my last class." She replied, shrugging a shoulder.
"oh okay, mind if i stay?"
He said, his tail once again wrapped around his feet, the tip of his tail flicking. He must admit, he was lonely.
He had no-one to hang out with, so this might be a fun change.
May shrugged a shoulder, fiddling with the sleeves on her sweater, "Tell me your name and you can stay. You whole first name… please." She said quietly.
"Elias…..Bonserwick"
He says confidently, puffing his chest out, his back straightened. He looked like a cat drawing, sitting almost perfectly postured.
"Yours?"
His eyes gazed at her with piercing green."
"May, May Johnson." She replied, offering a small smile back. She'd never been good with eye contact so she couldn't maintain it with Elias long.
"Oh, okay, hi May May!"
He said with a tilt of hid head, making fun of how she said her name twice.
May rolled her eyes, "If you're gonna make fun of me then you can go." She said, crossing her arms over her chest.
Elias, within a puff of smoke, his human form appeared. Laughing lightly he looks up at her,
"Relax… It was s joke"
He said with a smile
She smiled a little and let out a soft giggle, "I know I know."
Looking around, then picking a white flower from the garden, he looks at her and hands it to her,
"So, why're you out here?"
He wasn't meaning to act like a flirt, in fact, he never did. But he always came across that way didn't it.
May blushed slightly, fiddling with the flower and shrugging before she tucked it behind her ear, "It's quiet, peaceful. I-I don't have to deal with others out here."
"Oh? Yeah it is peaceful i guess"
He says laying down in the grass sighing. Then suddenly sitting up,
"Wait…. Am i ruining your peacy time?"
He said, not knowing how he could've worded that any worse than he did.
PEACY TIME? you idiot
He thinks to Himself, anticipating her answer, hoping he would have to leave. But if she wanted him to, he definitely would.
May giggled softly, resting her head back against the tree, "Well… not really. But you don't have to stay if you don't want to."
Letting out a sigh of relief, trying to hide it, but failing miserably, he flops down to the ground,
"Oh okay… So I can stay? Sorry, I just, was a little bored, so walking around I bumped into you."
Sitting up once again,
"I mean not that the only reason I'm talking to you is that I'm bored or anything, but likely mean I like talking to you. Well, so far, I don't actually now you- wait what's your name again?"
He says, his words flying all over the place, he had ADD so it was hard to hold specific conversations with him. Along with his bad memory, it made it worse. But somehow it was cute…. To some people
May rolled her eyes a little, but she was still smiling and wasn't actually annoyed at him, "It's May. And yes you can stay for as long as you want I guess."
"oh! Yeah May May! Sorry my memory kinda bad…"
He smiled at her cutely. His fingers pullings tiny blades of grass out of the ground. Looking down at the ground, the handful of grass, setting it back down then looking up at her,
"So, do you normally come out here? Or just this one time?"
May shrugged a shoulder, twirling a shadow around her fingers, “Yeah, I come here often. It’s quiet and a nice hideout.”
