okie dokie so should we start when they first meet?
Sounds good :)
A marbled furred brown, white and cat walked around the town. Classes were over, now was their free time.
Walking across a fence, Elias (he's the cat lol) spots a girl. She looked lonely, so, Knowing him… he walks up to her, meowing (feeling a little embarrassed, but she didn't know it was him. Although she didn't even know him.
(this but with brown and white with incredibly bright green eyes and friendlier looking:: https://pin.it/r5ukk5rx36c5n2 )
May fiddled with the camera in her hand, sighing softly. She ran a hand through her hair, ruffling it a little before she noticeably the cat. She smiled down at the cat, crouching down to his level, “Hey buddy.” She said quietly, hesitantly reaching out to pet the cat.
It always felt weird when people pet him while he was an animal.
"Now, I didn't come over here to get caressed, you seemed lonely"
He said, forgetting he was in cat form. Well not really talking, more like telepathy. When he was an animal that couldn't talk,
(not a parrot lol) He uses telepathy to talk to people. Although, the lonely girl probably doesn't know that he said that.
May blinked, retracting her hand, "Woah… how did… never mind," She sighed softly, "I was fine, really, there's no need to worry about me." Even though she appreciated the kindness, she didn't like other people worrying about her.
Elias sits down, wrapping his tail around his legs, the tip flicking up and down. His emerald eyes almost glowing.
"To bad, I already did. Say….. I think I've seen you around. Do you go to this college?"
He looks back at the giant college building. He could've sworn he's seen you around, maybe in the corner sulking or something. He hasn't really paid attention to people, always getting to the next class. Getting good grades, and lastly… not getting preyed on by the upper-classes. Maybe he should pay attention more.
May nodded, sitting down in front of him. She mainly stuck to the shadows when people were around, sticking to her element. She felt safe and comforted in the darkness so she never really left. It was the only constant in her life at times, "Yeah, I do. I haven't been here long, though," She replied, shrugging a shoulder, "What's your name?"
"Bonserwick"
He purrs, (not literally this time), if he were in human form, he would be smiling right now.
"That's all I'll give you for now….. until then."
And with that, the cat stands, running away toward an apartment building. The sun beaming down on his dark fur, his eyes darting around as he quickly climbs up the metal stairs. The sky was a pink-orange color, along with a hint of baby blue. Thin vaporizing clouds swirling around others. A plane soaring above the big city.
This was home.
"Wait what? Hey!" May hurriedly stood, trying to chase after the cat with no luck. She huffed, pouting a little. Damn her, this wasn't fair. Bonserwick. An interesting name and one she hadn't heard before. She looked towards the sunset, snapping a few pictures on her camera before she started to walk home.
(should we do a time skip?)
(yeah)
(TIME SKIP)
Elias walking through the halls. He gave himself wings for today. White big feathery wings. Shapeshifting came with more perks than he thought. He just recently figured out that he could do things like, giving himself wings, horns, claws. While the rest of him, totally looking normal. He usually didnt do it, but today he was feeling good. For he might have made a new friend.
Walking into the lecture hall, he spotted her. The girl he met yesterday. In the back, far left corner. He smiled to himself, walking towards her. Sitting beside her, everyone was currently sitting down.
Setting his books down and smiling at her, not saying a word, then quickly turning to the professor.
This was exciting.
May always got to class early so she could get her preferred seat. No one usual sat next to her, mainly because she was the quiet girl with dark powers. The guy who sat next to her today, felt oddly familiar, there was something about his eyes that felt familiar. She pushed the feeling away, shrinking more into the shadows while still listening to what the teacher was saying.
Leaning over, Elias shoots her a glance, he turns and starts to fold a piece of paper. And another, and another, and another. One was a rose, which he put on the end of his pen. The other a cat, and the last one, a chameleon.
Pushing the folded pieces of paper toward the girl, with the stupidest little grin. His brown golden hair a little tousled, making him look even more like a little boy.
May pouted a little in confusion, gently picking up the cat and turning it over in her hand. A small, shy smile graced her lips, looking from the cat, to the chameleon then back to him. The more she looked at him, the more she that familiar feeling grew. There really was something about him… the cat. That damned cat from yesterday.
Elias smiled at her, then taking his sketchbook out, drawing a little version of himself. With blue eyes though. Right beside it, he wrote:
what's your name?
He pushes the book to her. He decided to have a little fun.
May pulled the notebook further in front of her, knowing she should be focusing on the lecture but was too intrigued by the guy beside. May. May Johnson. What's your first name? She wrote back, pushing the notebook towards him again.
Snickering to himself a little, he looks at her, then back at the notebook and writes the letter E beside another little drawing of him. With a little heart beside his head.
i wonder if she's noticed yet?
May tried to scowl but ended up just looking like an angry kitten. E Bonserwick… the hell does the E stand for? She hurried wrote, huffing and crossing arms over her chest. This was why she didn't talk to people.
He looked at the paper, looking genuinely confused.
i never said anything about my last name
He looks at her, folding the paper into a paper foot ball, getting out a tiny slingshot, shooting it at the kid in front of May before he even gave her the note. Then giving her a wink, then quickly pretending to be asleep.
May ground her teeth together, contemplating moving seats but it was the middle of the lecture. She quickly apologised to the person in front of her before turning her 'glare' on him, "I know you're the cat from yesterday." She whispered before focusing back on the lecture, hoping he wouldn't bother her for the rest of the lesson.
Elias smiles, getting out a new paper.
what cat?
He slides the note to her, looking at her with now golden brown eyes. His expression looked genuinely confused. The bell ring as they stand up. Elias looking over to the girl, his eyes still brown, he picks up his books and flies down to the door. His white wings spreading as he glides down. Landing, he looks up at the girl, smiling then walking out of the class, happily humming to himself. His eyes the emerald green they normally are.
May stopped her foot in frustration, huffing and pouting. If she ever saw him again she'd just ignore him. She sighed, winnowing from the shadow behind in the corner of the room to a shadow in the hallway. She stuck to the shadows as she walked, easily blending in and almost disappearing but if you looked really closely you'd see her.
Wandering the halls he noticed the girl from earlier. He didn't really talk to people, but it was the beginning of the year, so here goes nothing.
Folding a little paper airplane, and throwing it at her, he stood there smiling, waiting for her to notice the airplane about to hit her in the head.
