(Snap I forgot to change that, sorry.
And his powers are somewhere. Near the end, I think.)

(Ah, okay. Cool. Thanks.
Will you be ready to start soon, then?)

(Just updated. I apologize again 🙇♀️)
(Yes I will be)
(👍🏻 ‘S’all good. Don’t worry about it.
I’ll start us in a bit. My sister and I are playing checkers and mancala with some app our cousin showed me.)

Skylar sighed as she limped back up to her apartment, trying her best to hide the pain she was in. She had a small cut on her leg, but that wasn’t why she was limping. On her way back, she had twisted her ankle while running, and now it hurt to walk.
👼🏼
Revil trotted up behind her, a nasty looking cut on the side of his face. He had flushed out of his water form (which I forgot to mention, since he’s humanized water, he can do such things) and left behind his meek human self. He jogged to catch up with Skylar, smiling.
“Hey. Have a good day? Is that limp okay?”
Skylar sounds around to face him, giving him a small smile on return. “Oh, um, hey Revil. Yeah, it’s fine. Just twisted my ankle a bit. You know how clumsy I am.”
Revil’s smile faded a bit. “I’m sorry about that. I have some ice in my room if you want to get some for your ankle.”
“That would actually be great, thank you,” Skylar said, her smile widening slightly.
“Hey, it’s no problem. It’s just this way.” He pointed to his room and walked to it, opening the door to a meowing cat, who was anxiously awaiting his return.
Skylar smiled down at the cat. “Well hey, kitty,” she giggled, reaching down to pet it.
The cat meowed and rubbed against her legs, purring huskily. Revil crossed his apartment and grabbed out a few handfuls of ice and into a baggie.
“Did you ever tell me your cat’s name? If so, I can’t remember,” Skylar called to Revil, still petting the cat.
Revil trotted over and shut the door. “Her name’s Rixi.” He handed Skylar the bag of ice.
“Cute name. Thank you,” Skylar said as she took the ice, standing up straight again. “So, how’ve you been?”
“Thanks. It was my mum’s name.” He led her to a couch and sat her down. “I’ve been well. How about you?”
“I’ve been good.” Aside from almost getting seriously injured today… “Busy, but good.”
Revil nodded and sat down with a sigh, running his hands over the delicately hidden scratch on his face.
“That’s good to hear. Busy’s always good.”
“I suppose,” Skylar half-agreed with a nod as she leaned against the doorframe.
Revil patted the couch next to him. “Come sit.”
