William sighed, pulling her back towards him, kissing her shoulder lightly. “You know that’s not what I meant, right?” He murmured against her skin. “I simply want you in my arms without wanting to take you. I want to enjoy this small moment with you.”
Amber shivered slightly at the touch of his lips to her bare skin. She nodded a little and shifted so that her back was to him, pressing against his front. “I know… I just don’t always realize that I’m provoking you too much when I do stuff like that. I just like seeing you react is all. Sorry.”
William snorted, closing his eyes against her. “You could wink at me and that would provoke me,” he answered. “Love, you are wondrous. And you drive me insane with every little thing you do.”
“Good to know, good to know,” Amber mused, grabbing his arm to wrap it around her. “You should hold me tightly. I like feeing you pressed against my back.”
William obliged, tightening his hold on her, pressing her harder against his chest. “Like that?”
Amber smiled, nodding with a slow sigh. “Yeah. Like that. Thanks, love… You’re the best, you know that?”
“Only for you,” William tangled their legs together. “I think your clothes should be dried now.”
“Darn. That’s too bad because now I’m comfortable. I don’t feel like getting up, and I don’t want you to get up, either,” Amber sighed.
“Then let’s stay like this,” William responded. “I don’t want you out of my arms, either.”
Amber hummed and twisted her head slightly to kiss his cheek before turning back. “Wonderful idea. Maybe we could talk a quick nap before going out, hm?”
William yawned when she mentioned nap. “That sounds wonderful,” he murmured. “I am tired.”
“So am I,” Amber agreed, mimicking his yawn. “Contagious yawns… So strange.”
“So annoying, too,” William kissed her shoulder. “The best way to know if someone is staring at you is to yawn.”
Amber chuckled, shifting her shoulders slightly at the kiss. “You know you send tingles up my spine every time you do that, right? If you keep doing it, I might have to roll over and kiss you so you stop.”
William chuckled, rubbing her arm with his hand. “Is that a bad thing? I’m not sure if it is.”
“Well, you asked me to stop kissing your neck for a certain reason. So you should maybe stop kissing my shoulder for he same reason,” Amber chuckled softly.
“Fair enough,” William hummed. “Do you want to sleep now?”
“Sleep sounds good. Maybe we should set an alarm, though, so we don’t slee the whole day away,” Amber suggested.
“You do it,” William grumbled. “The phone’s closer to you than it is to me.”
“You’re mean,” Amber muttered, reaching back to poke him in the side. “But fine. If you insist.”
“Thank you, love,” William breathed down on her neck. “You’re the best.”
“Will… Don't do that,” Amber mumbled, barely suppressing a shiver as she reached over for the phone. “You know I’m sensitive there…”
“That makes me want to do it even more,” William chuckled, but didn’t do it again. “I’ll tease you when we’re both not so exhausted.”
“You do that and I’ll go back to marking up your neck,” Amber singsonged, grabbing the phone and setting a timer before setting it back down. She laid down again and leaned back into him. “Okay, we can sleep, now. Timer is set.”
“Or I’ll just pin you to the bed and mark your neck,” William whispered in her ear when she settled back into him. “But hey, let’s sleep. We’ll talk like this some other time.”
