Alex started picking at his food quietly.

Gabe hummed a little, relaxing a little.

Alex listened to him hum, still picking at his food.

Gabe glanced over at Alex, sticking close to him and kissing his cheek lightly.

Alex smiled up at him for a moment, then went back to his food.

Gabe ate quickly now. He needed to go.
"I'll be back soon," he promised, giving Alex a hug and a quick kiss.

Alex leaned into him, nodding a little. "Okay. Stay safe."

Gabe kissed Alex one last time, then pulled away to leave.

(:D I'm going to the library for the first time in months, I'm excited!)

Alex watched him go with those big green eyes, still picking at the food.

Gabe looked back when he was in the doorway, giving Alex one last smile before he left completely for the day.

Alex smiled faintly in return, waving as Gabe left.

Gabe want back until later that evening.
"Alex," he called out when he came through the door. "I'm home!"

Alex was reading in the bedroom, and looked up. "I'm in here." he called softly.

Gabe made his way to the bedroom, smiling softly.
"Did you remember to eat lunch?" He asked, taking his shoes and jacket off.

Alex shook his head a little bit. "No." He replied. "Sorry."

Gabe sighed softly.
"It's okay," he said. He came over, giving Alex a small kiss.

Alex kissed him back, closing his eyes for a moment.

Gabe smiled gently as he pulled away from the kiss.
"Promise you'll try to eat dinner."

"I…I promise I'll try." He replied softly, looking up at Gabe.

Gabe smiled gently at that.
"Thank you," he said, sitting down to relax a bit.

Alex nodded a little, leaning his head on Gabe's shoulder.

Gabe put one arm around Alex, smiling softly as he closed his eyes.

Alex leaned into him, letting out a faint breath.

Gabe smiled softly as he and Alex cuddled.
"Did you have a good day?" He asked, eyes still closed.

Alex shrugged a little bit. "Yeah." He replied. "I guess so."
