Alex looked up at him, a little uncertain of what Gabe was doing, but he wasn't going to refuse.

Gabe gently reached up, cupping Alex's cheek. He leaned closer, lips so close to Alex's. Still, he hesitated. Would Alex let him? Would Gabe let himself?

Alex looked up at him with those big, haunted green eyes, leaning into Gabe's touch a little bit as he waited to see what Gabe would do.

Gabe hesitated a moment more. It seemed as if Alex was okay with it… Gabe closed the small distance now, kissing Alex gently.

Alex's eyes flickered shut as he felt Gabe's lips meet his own, and he reached to hold onto Gabe a little bit.

Gabe gently wrapped one arm around Alex's waist, holding him close. He pulled away from the kiss a moment, gazing softly at Alex.

Alex opened his eyes when Gabe pulled away, looking up at him with soft, unguarded eyes.

Gabe left his hand cupped against Alex's cheek.
"I…" He trailed off. He stayed so close to Alex, a tiny smile pulling at his lips. He was so gentle with Alex.

Alex raised his eyebrows a little bit, grateful for the gentleness. "What?" He asked softly, half afraid that Gabe was going to push him away, tell him it was a mistake, they couldn't do this again.

Gabe hesitated a moment, then finally spoke the truth.
"I… I thought I would be making a mistake. That this was wrong. But…" He took a deep breath before continuing.
"But it wasn't. I… I'm so happy now, Alex. I'm so glad I kissed you." He rubbed Alex's cheek with his thumb.

Alex swallowed softly, leaning into that gentle touch, his eyes soft and happy. "Are you sure?" He asked softly. "I-I don't want you to change your mind and…"

"I'm sure," Gabe said gently. "I'm so sure. I just… " Gabe paused, just watching Alex a moment.
"I'm so glad I took the chance," he mumbled softly.

(probably gtg in ten minutes and idk if I'll be back today, sorry)

Alex nodded a little bit, looking up at him. "Alright." He replied softly, his hands resting lightly on Gabe's chest.

(alright then, see you whenever you get back!)

Gabe smiled softly as he held Alex close now, a full smile.
"How do you feel?" He asked, smile faultering a bit. What if Alex didn't like this?

Alex thought for a moment. "Alright." he replied simply. "I feel…better, I suppose."

Gabe nodded softly. At least he seemed okay with this, what ever this was.
"I'm glad," he said softly.

Alex nodded a little bit. He was still leaning into Gabe's hand, a soft little smile on his lips.

Gabe pulled Alex a bit closer, taking Alex's hand in his own while still cupping Alex's cheek.

Alex looked up at him, wondering what Gabe was doing now. The music was still playing softly.

Gabe leaned down, kissing Alex again. Softer, but longer. No hesitation.

Alex kissed him back, eyes flickering shut contentedly.

Gabe's hand went to Alex's back, holding him close.

Alex pressed close to Gabe, one hand resting on his chest.

Gabe gently pulled his lips away to breath, smiling softly.
"I think I'm in love with you," he said quietly. "And it doesn't scare me anymore."

Alex opened his eyes, shock obvious in them at Gabe's announcement. "You…but…"
