Rizin blinks once, watching Ronan. He laughs softly, “That explains it.”
Ronan's head cleared instantly. He wanted to move, fly soar! Then, his first rational thought in months struck him. WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING??? he thought. I need to get back inside before anyone sees me. He changed back into a human, then turned around, preparing to go back to sleep… when he found Rizin watching him.
(i only catch all the spelling mistakes after i post sigh)
Rizin stares, having sat up. “You- You’re-“
"What? I was just sitting on the roof. Needed some fresh air you know? Why are you looking at me like that?" I blew it, Ronan thought. I fucking blew it.
Rizin laughs, “That explains why you were so off.” He shifts and he seems to change.
"H-how? How do you know? Why are you so calm?" Ronan asks, shocked.
(this rp is all i think about rn. cause adhd)
(XD i know that feeling)
Rizin smiles and his tail comes into sight, thin and curls around his wrist.
"What the fuck." Its not a question.
Rizin flinches, the tail disappearing in a flash. He looks away.
"No no no. I didn't mean it like that. I'm sorry. I just meant, like, what even is my life right now? First of all my best friend is cool with me being a weredragon, and now he's a demon? Your a demon right?"
Rizin stays silent, looking at his blankets.
"Hey, what's wrong? Did I say something bad?" Ronan walks over to Rizin, trying to meet his eyes.
Rizin moves away, “Go for a flight. I’ll cover for you.” He mumbles.
"No, not until you tell me what's wrong." Ronan smiled gently, "It's OK. You can tell me."
Rizin looks at him, “It’s nothing, okay?”
"You don't have to tell me right now. But if you ever need to talk, I'm here for you. OK? And as for that flight, I don't need one right now. Thanks though." Ronan walked back over to his bed, then lay down and pulled out a book to read.
“Right. . . That’s why you’ve slowly been going crazy lately.”
"I just shifted. That's enough to keep me sane for at least a few weeks."
"You should still go on a flight."
"Not tonight."
"Ronan. . ."
"I'll go on a flight if you tell me what's wrong."
He looks down, "I just. . . Didn't think you'd react like that. I mean, t's not as bad as other but still. . ." He forces a slight smile.
"I should be used to it by now."
