(I'm kinda tempted to have his pants either in the Crow's Nest, another random pirate's room, or clipped onto the flag line. Idk which I could go with. I can't stop imagining a siren just being like "i have your pants" and Matt just swandives off the ship like "give em back ya theif!")
(Oh my God the FLAG LINE WOULD BE HILARIOUS!)
(I vote either flag line or crows nest)
(I'm picturing the 'Where are my paaaaaants?' guy from the Lego movie rn and I'm dead!)
(Oml that would be amazing)
Kydah narrowed her eyes, twirling her s[ear a bit nervously. "Yes. The ocean is nervous, she is making us all nervous too." Kydah projected, her mouth barely moving as she did so. She still looked around, wincing every time a piece of sea debris brushed up against her smooth tail. She hated being here, but the mer had driven out the sirens so much that they hand ended up here, a hundred meters from a trash island. Well, maybe that was an exaggeration.
Oona made a little humming sound in response, her own eyes darting around the empty waters before them. Never one to admit she was nervous, Oona remained still and quiet, praying to the sea that no one was coming for the treasure. She adjusted the grip on her trident before addressing Kydah once more. "I'll increase border guards and patrols for the time being, but I want you back at the Cove. The treasure is most important." She paused, looking up towards the glistening ripples where the sea met the sky and sunshine. "I need my strongest there, something tells me it's being hunted again." Oona flicked her graceful tail in agitation. She'd been protecting it most of her life, when will the mer and humans realize that it was a siren treasure? One that could not be stolen so easily.

(teehee flag line it is~)
Kydah nodded, eyes narrowing at an approaching ship. "These beings never know when to stop, do they." She murmured, blowing out a stream of air bubbles. Kydah shook her head angrily, clutching her spear. "Someone should look at that ship, just to make sure. No sensible human would ever come this close to a trash island."
Oona snorted elegantly, gazing up at the ships underbelly. She then shrugged. "It could be fun and we may get a meal out of it… Want to join me?" She asked as she flexed her tail to propel her upwards towards the surface. "Maybe we will scare them off." Oona added with a playful wink towards Kydah.
Kydah chuckled. "Should I detach my jaw again?" She joked, swiftly putting the spear on her back and beginning to swim upward. "Last time all the sailors screamed, I'm pretty sure one of them even passed out."
"Let's refrain. You know I like to play with them first." Oona grumbled, as she hooked her own weapon onto her back. She's have to discard it when they surfaced so the pirates aboard would think them innocent, but she liked it's weight on her back for now. She twirled and she swam up, gaining speed from the powerful stroke.
Kane sighed as the sound of people coming above deck interrupted his staring. “Morning Morrigan,” he said, turning and smiling at her. He looked over her shoulder. “Did Matty boy forget his pants again?”
“Yeah….” Morrigan muttered, diverting her focus from the drunken man and turning it to Kane. “What time is it?”
Kane pulled his pocket watch out of the pocket of his shirt. The only reason the sea air hadn’t rusted it was because it was charmed to repel the salty air. He had paid a pretty penny for it, but he would never need to buy another watch again. “5:52. You’re all early risers this morning, I suppose.”
(Ah can I just throw someone in?)
(Or make it easier and just leave? :L)
Don't leave, just throw insomeone.//

"Yeah, yeah." Kydah laughed, singing a quick charm to cover up her markings and to make her tail look more exotic. "Shall we tip the boat afterwords? I have a new verse I've been meaning to try out." She said as she finished the charm.

Morrigan snorted at the irony of his statement, giving a subtle shake of her head. “I never fell asleep in the first place. Matt probably didn’t either, judging by how drunk he is.”

"Do any of us ever sleep?" Leah asks. It's less a question than a statement, but it's always difficult to tell with her. "I know I couldn't."
Etzil stomped angrily from his office/room (idk what to call it), his white hair fluffed up angrily around his ears. It felt too early, but the waves were flowing and rough against the ship.
"What is going on?" He roared at no one in particular, swinging his neatly-dressed black sleeve with golden buttons down to his waist.
Leah nearly jumped at Etzil's loud voice.
"A pants issue, Captain," she replied, gripping her broom more tightly until her knuckles turned white.
Morrigan’s back straightened nearly imperceptibly. “Matt is drunk,” she told him bluntly, “Again. And can’t find his pants.” It was clear from her hard tone that she was not entirely comfortable with the situation.
"Yeah, yeah." Kydah laughed, singing a quick charm to cover up her markings and to make her tail look more exotic. "Shall we tip the boat afterwords? I have a new verse I've been meaning to try out." She said as she finished the charm.
Oona made an intrigued face as she considered the proposition before simply shrugging. "I suppose we shall see." She intoned instead as she came up to the underside of the boat and pressed a hand against it. She didn't bother using a charm to cover up her otherworldly features. Sailors usually were intrigued by them no matter what they looked like, although, her fangs usually startled most away from her pretty face.
Etzil frowned deeply and clacked his way across the ship, searching for Matt. His hard black boots rattled the flimsy boards under them, and his posture was straight and neat. He always acted of that as a soldier, having been one before manning a ship. Where is that stupid fool? I'll knock him fuckin' straight. Again. I should just throw him off myself…
