Peaceful or vengeful: Kydah isn't very vengeful, but she would and has done anything to protect her tribemates.
Appearance: Kydah has ebony black hair, chopped in a very uneven bob, with some blonde streaks in it that look natural. Her skin is pale with many scars from the battles she has fought and the hardships her clan has gone through. Her tail is one that looks like a shark's, the things setting it aside from sharks are as listed: The coloration, her tail is a grayish purple base with dark purple spots on the edges of the fin. The markings, each person from her clan has a certain marking across their tails to signify how many battles they've fought in and their rank in the tribe. Kydah also has some grayish purple coloration on her shoulders, the tips of her ears, right under and next to her eyes, and on her elbows.
Personality: Kydah is more of a brash person, leaning toward the more hostile and defensive side of things. She is very protective of the people whom she calls family and will fight for them, even if they've done something wrong. (Most of the time, she's in denial if they've done something wrong.) However, if you get to know her and I mean really get to know her, she is one of the most loyal and caring people you will ever meet.
Status within their nation: Kydah is part of the warrior tribe of Sirenix, the tribe who were the ones to capture some Mer land. She is one of the most vicious warriors in the tribe and is often given perks because of that, like sitting in on meetings and being able to be on the front lines.
Other: Her singing voice is one that would more fit a punk/ alt. rock band. (Like MCR, or Single By Sunday)

Peaceful or vengeful: a little of both
Appearance: Oona has light colored hair that can be seen as golden with a teal like tint; it's long long and wild about her face and body. She has wide teal eyes, plump lips and fangs. Her skin is pale with deep blue scales around her collar bones, forearms, down her spine, and on either side of her neck. Her tail is graceful and lithe like that of a beta fish but still incredibly strong. Her tail is a deep purple at her waist and ombres out to teal blue at the fin. Oona has swirling markings going all around her body and tail and are deep blue in color.
Personality: Oona is outspoken and fierce, but truly a gentle soul. She is very protective of her people and their mission to protect the ancient sea treasure. She is ready to fight at any point in time, but is still friendly and graceful. Generally the life of the party and can be wicked mischievous.
Status within their nation: Oona is a captain among the Sirens due to her age and experience. She sits on the council and is frequently in charge of protecting the treasure and the Siren seas that her people control.
Other: Her singing voice is more folk/ballad like. Think Florence Welch meets Adele.

Appearance: Dark, short, messy hair. Kinda needs a haircut. Tanned skin from always being in the sun. Pretty tall (5'11"). Very strong lots of defined muscles all over. Fairly sharp jawline, hazel eyes. Pretty attractive, and he knows it.
Personality: Creative, people think he’s dumb but he’s actually really smart. Stubborn, spontaneous, takes risks, entergetic, anxious, kinda angry at the world sometimes. Good at managing people and generally like taking with that. Very sarcastic. Loves to mess with people. Acts impulsively. Stubborn, can be insensitive. Honest to a fault.
Status within their nation:
Other: He joined the pirate crew because he loves the sea and because he was lost and needed somewhere to go and for people to count on him. His dad had an alcohol problem and while he likes to drink, he doesn’t get addicted to things easily, so he’s not addicted to alcohol. However he does like to get drunk if he knows people aren’t counting on him. He tried apprenticing with a shipbuilding company before joining the crew but the company went bankrupt and he didn’t have any job or friends or family nearby, as he moved far away to apprentice for the company. He was aimless for almost six months before being picked up by the crew.
