Question was, how to approach the Prince? He'd clearly been scared senseless when Apollo showed up the way he did, and obviously the god wanted Hyacinth comfortable around him.

It was probably a one time thing, right? No one would be interested in someone like me–especially a god. He thought, switching between staring at the floor and the roof.
Maybe, some time away was best? For Hyacinth to wrap his mind around things?
"Who am I kidding," the god mumbled to himself. "I don't have that self-control." He shut his eyes and popped into existence just outside the palace gates, dressed much more normally now in cloth pants, a white tunic and sandals. The one thing he couldn't hide, however, was his unruly mop of blond hair, shining golden in the sunlight.
Yeah, that was probably just a mistake, don't get feelings for him just yet. Hyacinth reassured himself and stood up, stretching his arms as he decided to walk around the castle.
With the gates wide open and unguarded, Apollo sauntered in and swept the courtyard with his blue eyes, scanning the near horizon for his Prince.
Hyacinth hummed a tune as he wandered into the courtyard, sighing at it's beauty. He would never get over how beautiful the courtyard was no matter how many times he has been here.
And there he was, waltzing into the sunlight with a melody on his lips— absolutely dazzling. Apollo approached silently, his footsteps light on the stone underfoot.
Hyacinth couldn't help but smile a bit at it's beauty and stillness, much different to everything else in his life. Much of his life was about being the best in everything he could be, considering he was a prince and he was a role model for everyone.
Finally Apollo fell into step with the Prince, standing beside him only a few steps away. He didn't look over at Hyacinth, simply let his eyes wander the bright courtyard.
Hyacinth saw something in the corner of his eyes and looked up, his eyes widening a bit when he saw him. The man looked like Apollo yet he wasn't sure. "Apollo?"
(Hey… still up for this?)
(Absolutely!)
(is highkey excited)
Apollo pursed his lips lightly, eyes glinting. "Good guess, but I am merely a humble servant of the court," he said melodically.
"I know all the servants and I haven't seen you around here…" Hyacinth muttered, examining the man's features.
(Lmaoo same)
"Maybe…" the man started, drawing out the word, "you should lean in closer to find out."
"Why?" Hyacinth asked almost immediately, confusion appearing on his face as he kept examining him.
"Lean in closer and find out," Apollo repeated in a whisper, amused at how easily Hyacinth could be tricked.
Hyacinth leaned in just a bit, out of curiosity, his arms behind his back as he looked at him. "Now what?"
Apollo grinned and kissed Hyacinth quickly and lightly. "Always trust your gut: first answer is always correct."
Hyacinth turned turned a dark shade of red, glancing at Apollo with a surprised look now. "H-How did you get in here? And why are you here?"
Apollo pulled away slightly and pouted his lips. "I appeared right outside the open gate, first of all. As for your other question I have no better reason than I like you. Valid enough?" he rattled off like a list.
Hyacinth's ears turned pink. "You like me?" He pointed to himself, looking confused as he looked at Apollo. How could a god like him?
Apollo sighed heavily, shaking his head. A strand of golden hair fell across his face.
« I don’t know how to answer that. Yes, I do, and I’d like to know what I need to do to put you at ease. If you’d prefer I leave you be, so be it, I will. Otherwise, what can I do to appease your mind? » he asked earnestly, looking Hyacinth in the eye.
Hyacinth looked at Apollo, moving the loose strand of hair back. "I-I do too, I just don't know what to think or do anymore…" He muttered, quickly looking away and blushing softly.
