"I just have a feeling that you're not sorry," She said, feeling her face heat up from his hands, "I've kinda grown used to you not always being serious."
"I just have a feeling that you're not sorry," She said, feeling her face heat up from his hands, "I've kinda grown used to you not always being serious."
"Hm…. I guess that's kind of true…." I guess that makes it harder for people to understand when you're serious, huh?… Miles shifted around. "But one thing is for sure is that I am most certainly serious about these kisses…." He kissed her warmly on the cheek, giving her several pecks.
Emmeline smiled and pulled herself closer to him, kissing his nose again, "Are you purposely missing my lips?" She asked, her face turning bright red when she realized what she had said.
"Well…" He murmured jokingly, "I'm not sure if you're ready for that yet…." Miles rubbed her back with his warm hand, feeling her essence.
She wrapped her arms around him and leaned into his touch, kissing him on the cheek, "I think I'm ready," She said, smiling up at him.
Miles didn't say any more – he just leaned in dreamily, pulling her into some sort of inseparable lip-lock that he always wanted to have with her, creepily enough. His heart warmed, and he could even feel his heart pounding, as well as Emmeline's.
Emmeline's heartbeat surged and she felt herself let out a small squeak before leaning into the kiss, wrapping her arms around his torso with a smile.
Miles ran his hands up her back while still kissing her. He brought her close, feeling that deep connection finally coming out after days of being together.
Finally being able to kiss him made her happy and knowing that they shared a connection made it even better, causing her to bring one of her hands up and tangle it in his hair.
Miles hummed a measly laugh, rubbing his hands slowly up and down her back, and then her sides – his hands conformed to her lovely contour, something he was sorta dying to do. Who knew we'd get here so soon?…
Emmeline pressed herself closer to him, her face heating up slightly from his touch as she ran a hand over his back and let the other tangle further into his hair.
Miles finally got himself to break away from her, taking a deep and gentile breath. "Who knew you were so good at kissing, huh?" He teased, rubbing his thumb against her ribcage on her side. I don't even know how we got here…. She just sorta… Went into it after she began practically sleeping on top of me…. Nonetheless….
She felt herself blush and she shrugged "I didn't even know.." Emmeline started to slowly untangle her hand from his black hair, her chest rising and falling from her breathing quite quickly.
"Mmmmmmm-hmm," He hummed slowly. "That's why I was asking…." He shifted a bit again and let out a long sigh before attempting to sit up. "I suppose we should get going for the day, huh?…" He grumbled. I honestly just want to stay in bed and cuddle with her all day… he admitted to himself.
"I suppose.." She replied with the same amount of enthusiasm as he had. She scooted a few inches away from him and sat up, making sure she didn't look like they were just kissing a few minutes ago.
"Well…. Did you have fun?" Miles smirked, wobbling to his feet. I bet she had lots of it…. He went over and put on his cloak again, also shoving his feet into his boots..
Emmeline blushed harder and nodded, "Yeah.." She said, looking over at him, "What about you?" She made her way to the edge of the bed before standing up, holding onto the edge of the bed to steady herself.
"What do you think? Of course I had fun…." He paused for a moment and glanced at her. "I had the best moment of my life right there…." Miles said with a smirk, nodding at her. "And I would do it all over again if I had the chance to."
She squeaked quietly and looked at the floor, "That..that could be arranged.." She mumbled with a small smile, "If you wanted it to be."
"Of course – I would love that," Miles said with a loving smile. "Yet I'm guessing we should get out priorities in order before we head out so soon…" He sat down on his bed.
Emmeline nodded, "Are we just going to leave town and stay the night at the next place we come across?" She asked, looking around the room before focusing on him with a smile.
"I mean…. Probably… That's what I intended. Unless they're littered with hunters…." He lowered his voice suddenly. But that's besides the point…. "You have everything packed?" He asked, walking over to her.
She pointed to their stuff, "Right there." She said, sitting back on the edge of her bed, "Though I forgot to get a pack to carry it all in..I'll have to try to find one in the next town."
"That's right…. And a fry pan to cook stuff when it gets late in the wild….." Miles added on, pacing around. "But otherwise, we're ready to go, right?"
"I think so.." She scanned the room one more time and nodded, "Yup, we're ready to go." Emmeline stood up and stretched out her arms, starting to hum again.
