Chrys bites his lip, then sighs. “I’m…hungry…is all…” He mutters. “It’s fine though. I’ll find something…”
Chrys bites his lip, then sighs. “I’m…hungry…is all…” He mutters. “It’s fine though. I’ll find something…”
Today takes a moment, "How hungry?"
Chrys sighs, “It- doesn’t matter…” He mumbles.
"Well. It matters to me."
Chrys bites his lip harder, then mutters. “E-enough t-to kill s-something…”
Rodya frowns, concerned, “You shouldn’t let yourself get that hungry.” He scolds softly.
Chrys sighs, “It happens more often than you’d think…my…appetite has been getting worse…” He mutters. “Though that’s what happens I guess…”
“Maybe its the animal blood.”
Chrys shrugs. “Probably. But I’d rather have that then ruin any reputation I may have left.”
Rodya huffs, “Take some of mine then. Just a little bit at a time. Small snacks.”
Chrys bursts into laughter, leaning on the wall. “Oh! You’re funny!”
Rodya rolls his eyes, “After you’re not starving.” He huffs, “Or is there a serious problem with that?” He tilts his head.
Chrys shakes his head. “Oh boy…I’d rather not do that thanks. That was a nice offer…thank you. But I’d much rather not risk anything.
“Then you’ll eventually kill every animal in the forest, or if it gets bad enough an only minutes pass before you’re starving again, or so starving, you do go on a rampage and hurt innocent people.” Rodya looks at him, “I’m just offering to help.”
Chrys pauses, then shakes his head. “I’m not that bad…I prefer animal blood because it’s bitter enough to let me know when to stop. Human blood is different.”
Rodya sighs, “I’m not saying you’re that bad. I’m going off of what you’ve given me. You said you’re getting hungrier faster these days. And if it’s because of the animal blood. . .” He shrugs. “I trust you, if I say stop you’ll stop, but if you don’t want to, that’s fine.”
Chrys shakes his head, “Still. I’d rather stay on the safe side.”
Rodya sighs, “If I’m right, the safe side will only be safe for so long. . .” He stands.
Chrys nods, “I-I know…” He mutters. I’m just too paranoid…
Rodya looks at him, silent.
Chrys sighs, “Well…thank you for coming. I appreciated your company.”
Rodya sighs softly, “Yeah. . .” He mumbles.
Chrys smiles softly, then walks back inside.
Rodya mounts his horse, quiet for a moment.
Chrys presses himself against the door, rubbing his throat and squeezing his eyes shut. He’d leave to hunt as soon as Rodya left.
