"I've already reached my dreams, Noah. I have my own photography company and I make a lot of money off it. I'd love to move in with you but I have my own life back in the city."
"I've already reached my dreams, Noah. I have my own photography company and I make a lot of money off it. I'd love to move in with you but I have my own life back in the city."
"I know. I can't ruin that…let's just-put it off, okay? While you're here. And then we can figure it all out and worry."
Trini didn't say anything for a while. She was thinking.
Noah sat on the bed next to her, worried. "Trini?"
She looked at him. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I really do. But I cant just leave my life behind."
"I know. That's what I'm trying to say. I love you, so much, but I can't take your life away, and I-I have my own here."
Trini looked at Noah, then fell towards him, her head resting on his chest.
He wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on her head. "This is still a mess, isn't it?"
"I wish we hadn't left it like we had," Trini replied. "I know we've made up, but now we have separate lives.
Noah sighed. "I guess good things can't be easy."
Trini's phone buzzed and as she checked it, her eyes widened. "Uh…"
"What is it?"
Trini looked at Noah. "I forgot to say. I technically have a boyfriend. But he's really clingy and I've been looking for a good excuse to break up with him."
Noah opened his mouth to say something, closing his eyes and throwing his hands up. Nothing managed to come out, even as he mouthed like he was trying to say something.
"Can you blame me? Everytime I try to break up with him, he begs me not to and gives me reasons. Like that he's not clingy and I'm just making it up." Her phone dinged 5 more times while she was saying it.
"You could literally just block his number."
"No, no. He knows where I live, he knows where is work… You know what? Maybe moving in with you wouldn't be such a bad idea."
"Trini, do you need to call the cops?" He raised an eyebrow, slightly amused and mostly worried.
"No. I'll just call him and say that I want to break up. He won't have much choice. And if he tries anything, I'll threaten a restraining order."
"You are aware that that's just a piece of paper, right? Legally he can't come near you, but physically it can't exactly stop him." Noah stated as he laid back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling still covered in glow in the dark stars.
"Look, I'll just go into another room and call him," Trini said, getting up. "If I'm not back in 5 minutes, come looking."
"What, can he murder you through the phone?" He asked sarcastically, nodding anyway.
Trini gave Noah a look, then walked into another room, closing the door. She turned around to sit on the small bed in it and a hand was suddenly over her mouth.
((oh shit
Noah waited, mind swimming with thoughts and memories.
(yes….HAHHAHAHAHA)
Trini fumbled for the doorknob, but her hand was grabbed and put behind her back. "Hello, Trinity."
