Mia shook the dice for quiet some time.
"Come on, come on…" She tossed them on the board, then let out a sigh of relief as she landed on her property.
Mia shook the dice for quiet some time.
"Come on, come on…" She tossed them on the board, then let out a sigh of relief as she landed on her property.
“Good job!” He said, giving her a small smile as he scooped up the dice. He rolled, landing on one of Mia’s properties. “Awwww…” he shrugged it off, handing her the money.
"Ah, thank you for the donation!" Mia grinned, setting the money down in a new pile.
“Welcome!” He said, handing her the dice, smiling a little bit. He didn’t care a lot if he won or lost, he was just glad to be having fun.
Mia rolled, much more relaxed now. She hummed, moving her piece onto an empty property.
Simon rolled, landing on an empty property.
Mia hummed, thinking for a long moment as she took the dice. This was going to be tricky…
Simon could practically see the gears turning in her head. He stayed quiet, watching her think.
Finally, Mia rolled.
"Not a three, not a three…" Guess what the dice showed?
A one and a two.
“Damn…what are the odds.” He felt bad for her, that was just some rotten luck.
"Yeah…" Mia let out a sigh, head hanging.
"Well, I landed on your railroad, and even if I mortgage all of my properties, I won't have the two hundred dollars. So, I'm bankrupt! You win!" The woman looked up, giggling a bit.
“Oh I won?? Oh yay!!” He exclaimed, clapping his hands together.
Mia laughed, clapping a bit in congratulations. She smiled, nodding.
"Good game!"
“Yeah that was really fun!” He leaned over, hugging her. “Thanks for playing with me!”
Mia hugged Simon back, grinning.
"Thank you, too! It was great, I had a lot of fun too!"
He nodded. “I’m glad you did.” He said, still holding onto her happily.
"Mhm…" Mia kept smiling, giving Simon a light squeeze. "We should try to do this more often."
“Yeah we should…that’d be really nice…” he said softly.
"It really would be…" Mia pulled away some from the hug, her hands going into Simon's.
“I’m guessing we should probably clean up now, right?” He asked. He was a bit tired but he’d still do it.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," Mia agreed. She looked over to the board, beginning to clean it up.
Simon turned around, beginning to pick up and organize his cards and cash, taking a few minutes to do so, before putting them back with the group.
Mia let out a soft hum as she set the money and game pieces back in the box, smiling.
"So, what now?" She asked.
He shrugged. “I don’t know..” he said truthfully. “Nothing that’ll take too much effort. Somehow I’m low on energy already.”
((Also I love your @ rn lmao))
(Thanks aha, like maybe let's not fetishize any man who wants to wear a dress or doesn't look extremely masculine)
"Okay, then!" Mia had an idea as to why Simon was tired already, but she wasn't going to say a word about it. "So… movie?"
