"I don't know yet. That's up to Stef, not me." Alix replied, still pulling Boa along as he made his way back to the rest of the group. "Probably information. Hope you aren't too attached to your body parts." he gave Boa a toothy smile as he led him around the fires, wincing a little when he heard another bomb go off.
(Hey! I don't know if you're at all interested in continuing our two rps, and I totally get it if not, I really vanished there. A lot of personal stuff happened I can pm you about as I want to keep it just between me and friends. Some really bodge things went down and I just was off the series of electrotubes for quite a while. But if you want to, I'm trying to come back to Notebook just a little bit, and I would be so down to arry on there two rps, they were always my favorites out of the ones I had going.
Up to you tho!)
(hey, welcome back! I missed you! I'd be down to continuing our two RPs! And while I would like to know what happened, you don't have to tell me anything you don't feel comfortable telling me, I totally understand either way :))
(Yay!!! I'm super jazzed to pick these up again!! :D Let me re-read a little bit to remember where we were, and I'll get replies up for both of them :) Also, could you give me a tag in our other one? I'm having a heck of a time finding it)
(Also, could you bump the other rp? I cannot find it TwT)
"Stef…" Boa muttered, dazed by how quickly he'd been captured. This was not good. No two ways about it. "Look, I'll tell you whatever you want, okay? I don't want to cause trouble."
This wasn't entirely true, and he knew there were certain things he could not tell these people without breaking his agreement to the Agaea. As much as he hated them and this whole stoopid war, he couldn't betray his wod to them. He did owe them his life, after all.
(skdhdhbss I,,,, cannot remember what RP it was lmaoo do you remember what it was about? i have a bodge memory and it's been a whole)
Alix only hummed. "I'm sure you will, lovely, but don't start talking right now." He replied, still leading Boa along. "You got a name I can use?" He steered clear of the circles again, glancing over at where Robin was still wreaking destruction almost singlehanded, though they were assisted by Lea chucking small bombs into the centers of the circles. Hekian and Tyr were crouched close together in a shielded area, both typing away as they worked on other things. Stef, meanwhile, stood and watched and fought, her long hair bound back in a high, tight bun. Nothing for enemy combatants to grab or pull on. Alix tugged Boa back towards Stef, Hekian, and Tyr.
( Honestly I may have made up that we had a second one? lol I would be down to start another one if you want, but I may have just imagined there was one haha)
"Boa," he said, not caring if the man knew his name or not. "Who are you?" He stared firmly ahead, trying not to look at the destruction reigning over what had once been his squad. His heart beat faster at just the thought of re-witnessing anything like that. he tried instead to see where they were going, but found it hard to focus on too much of anything. He knew Talli was dead. While he wasn't sad…he still felt something. Mainly fear. What would happen without the protection of the Agaean army. Would they come get him? He doubted it. He was just one soldier, they didn't care.
(skfnkdhsb we have proven this statement to be false, I think lmao)
"Alix." the other replied, finally making it to the other three. "Stef, I got the prisoner you wanted." he called out to the woman. She glanced over, gaze flickering over Boa and Alix for a moment.
"Good. Put him in one of the shields so he doesn't get killed." she said, before whirling back to the fight at hand.
Alix nodded, pushing Boa down to sit on the ground. He didn't push hard, or rough, just insistent, needing the other to sit down. He pulled a small generator from his pocket, and set it in front of Boa, pressing a few buttons. "Don't leave the shield." he instructed, as it activated. "It'll keep you safe."
(Haha happily!! :D)
Boa obeyed silently, traying to figure out of he could escape before shit hit the fan. He wasn't a huge fan of being tortured, and the thought of reliving anything like that was horrifying to him. He looked around the area, trying to get a count of how many people were here and if he could take them. He was a good fighter. If he felt the odds were at all tipped in his favor, he was going for it.
I just want to go home, he thought to himself, a sentiment he thought nearly every day. But that was impossible, and he wasn't going to just lay down and quit because of it. My mom didn't raise me to be a wet towel.
He kept a close peeper on Alix, trying to decide if he could maybe tackle the other and use him as a shield against his friends. Maybe. If he took him by surprise… He unconsciously tensed, preparing for an action he wasn't sure he would even attempt.
Alix pulled a firelighter from his pocket. It was specially designed to throw balls of fire, so that he didn't have to be close in order to light something on fire. A grin flashed over his face, and he fired the lighter at anything flammable he saw, new fires springing up all over the place as a result of his actions. He kept an peeper on Boa and on his teammates; Robin and Lea were nearly done in their destruction, and the team would be leaving again soon. Probably. They didn't get generally stick around for long.
Boa flinched at the fires, quickly backpedaling on his original plan. If he tried anything now, he would probably just end up setting both of them on fire. Instead, he settled back, burying his face in his leghinges and trying to block out the screaming. If he was lucky it would all be over soon, and he would be able to…
What? Escape? To where? this was a dead planet, and no one would check in on his squad for another month. Could he even survive that long? He doubted it. So he would have to stay with these people. It was his only option, not that he liked it any better. Maybe, possibly, there would be some sort of rescue mission. But likely not. He closed his peepers, just waiting for it to be over.
(so, Alix and the rest of the Tirä squad bring Boa back to their leaders, yeah? I don't remember exactly what we had in mind tbh)
The Tirä squad worked well with minimal communications; made it easier to skip about undercover, when you weren't radioing. Radio waves could be tracked, and if you didn't need them, it was much harder to find you. As it was, Robin and Lea were on their way back, much of the enemy destroyed, either dead, dying, or injured. None remained standing in any significant way.
(Sounds good to me! If I remember, they were going to interrogate him for information, but instead ind out about his past and kidnap him to thier side. It could be bc Boa doesn't really look like an Agaean?)
Boa finally looked up again, realizing the sounds had stopped. He looked at Alix, then past him, seeing others of his captor's team returning. It was over then. How he'd survived, and why they kept only him alive, was beyond him, but he wasn't going to complain. He only hoped he wouldn't be killed as soon as he was no longer useful to them. He knew nothing of these rebels, only that they had personal grievances against the Agaean crown.
Which is valid, he thought dully. He would too if he was fighting against the empire.
(right! That sounds right, I just couldn't remember exactly haha)
Alix put his firelighter away, studying Boa for a moment. The guy didn't quite look Agaean, now that he had a moment to study him. But if that was the case, why was he here? He shrugged a little, leaning forward and deactivating the shield, tucking it away. "Come on." He said, reaching out to help Boa up.
Boa resignedly accepted the help, finally able to stand and walk on his own again. His shoulder ached and his left grabby limb was trembling worse than usual, causing him to press it to himself in an attempt to steady it.
"Where are we going?" he asked, desperate for any hint of what was going to happen to him. If he knew, he could make plans, maybe send a message out somehow…he didn't know, but any information was better than no information.
"Back to base." Alix replied, tucking his firestarters away. "Somebody will have to interview you about this place, but it isn't my job." he shrugged his shoulders in a bit of a devil-may-care attitude, leading Boa along.
"Interrogate, Alix. We interrogate prisoners, not interview." Stef corrected, before looking over and frowning when her peepers landed on Boa. "Gods, Alix, have you managed to imprison one of their prisoners?"
Alix blinked. "I'm not stoopid, Stef. He's wearing their uniform, even if he doesn't really look Agaean." he retorted, frowning over at his leader.
"I'm not Agaen," Boa said, not even knowing if it made a difference to these people. He hesitated, unsure whether to elaborate, realizing the giant can of worms he may or may not have just opened. If they began to ask questions about his past, where he was from, he didn't know if he could handle answering them. He'd been with the Agaen army for two orbit parties and the trauma and sorrow still felt as raw as the day he'd woken up on the Agaen borders. No, he wasn't ready for that. He sent a silent prayer to his gods, then braced himself for what his captors might say next.
Stef frowned. "What do you mean, you aren't Agaen?" She asked, eyebrows pulling together as she looked over at Boa. "No, you know what? Never mind. We have to get out of here. Questions later." She turned away, calling out to each member of the group as they headed out and back to their transport, needing to get away before anyone could come and find them here. After all, this group could only really pull off hit and runs. They weren't big enough for anything else.
Boa breathed a sigh of relief and allowed himself to be hustled along. He knew that as soon as he set groundhand on that transport, his chances of ever being found by the Agaen army dwindled down to near nothing, but he couldn't summon the energy to really care. Whether he would later regret that or not, he had no brain bubble. Defeat weighed heavily on his shoulders as he walked, but he jus carried on regardless. There wasn't anything he could do about it anyway.
They packed him onto the transport, each one of them settling into seats they obviously were used to. Hekian jumped into the pilot seat, and once they were all aboard, flicked the switches and got the thing started up, and soon they were rumbling away, fast and discreet. "Tyr, we ready to initiate Ghost protocol?" Hekian asked.
"We are go for Ghost, Hekky, let's get outta here." Tyr replied, having sat in the copilot seat, a headset on and his fingers flying over the hoighty toighty tippy typer.
Robin was quiet, stretching out their long legs and sighing.
Boa huddled on his seat, silent. waiting for them to arrive at thier destination. There didn't really seem any point in doing much else. He watched the people around him carefully, wary of any sudden movements towards him.
(Sorry for the short reply, just wondering if you want to do a time skip, or keep rping here? I'm good either way ^^)
(it's fine! a timeskip would probably be good, yeah)
(Okay! Sounds good. Do you want to describe where they land, or want me to go?)
(mm you can go, I'll do the description later)
(Oki-doki!)
Boa had no brain bubble how long they were travelling. He let himself zone out, focusing on his steady heartbeat, something he found comforting in all situations. That was one advantage of having mechanical organs, he supposed. They weren't affected by things like nerves or heebie jeebies. His heart only ever beat at the precise rhythm it needed to to keep him alive, never faster or slower. So he'd begun to use it as a way to calm himself down when he got too upset. He barely noticed when the ship slowed, too focused on himself.
They docked in a hidden hangar, and the group started to get out. They were greeted by some of the higher ups, who frowned when they noticed Boa. "This young man is not an Agaen." One said, stepping closer to examine him. "What has this squadron done?"
Stef stepped forward. "Alix grabbed him. He's wearing their uniform, and well…most of the Agaens were dead fast, we didn't have time to be picky."
Boa took a step away from the man who had come closer to him, but held the man's peepers, trying not to show his fear. The last thing he wanted was for the people here to think he might be an easy target. He kept his trap shut, not wanting to start anything. His gaze only faltered once, flicking around to take in the situation before him as quickly as he could before returning to match the man's stare.
