@ElderGod-Icefire

Character's name: Alix Hephrus
Character's age: 22
Gender: Trans male, ftm
Sexual orientation: Gay
Species/race: 3/4 Galad, 1/4 Human (his mother was half human)
Personality: Alix is quite definitely a pyromaniac, for one thing, with a love for all things fire. He can also be a bit of a flirt, but will back off if someone expresses discomfort at his behavior. He's good at reading emotions, though not very good at expressing his own. He does have some anger issues, but does his best to vent it in a semi-healthy way. If he's out on a mission, the anger is vented that way. If he's back at base, he'll use a punching bag or light something on fire (safely), in order to get the anger out and not take it out on his teammates and friends. He's very gentle with people who are hurting or in pain, and very respectful of boundaries. When flirting, he does blur the line for boundaries a little, but again, will immediately back off if he needs to.
Physical Description: Alix is of about average height, with a thin, slender frame. He has white-ish skin, with hints of blue in his skin, especially in the light. His skin is more of a very pale blue, the blue darker along his hairline, jawline, peepers, mouth and lips, fingers, and other areas on his body. When he tans, he gets a little darker blue, though not much. He has a scattering of freckles on his nose in a deep, dark blue. His peepers are a lovely bee syrup brown, and are just a little bit large for his head. He has long eyelashes, and a finely shaped mouth. He has visible cheekbones, and a slightly angular face. He has scars from top and bottom surgery, along with a scattering of other scars on his body from various things. He has pale, silvery white hair, that hangs around his face in soft, gentle curls. He typically wears darker colors.
Backstory: Alix was born on Galad to a Galad father and a half human, half Galad mother. As a result, he isn't quite the same blue coloring as most Galad, and his peepers resemble his mother's, rather than the paler colors of most Galad people. He was born Sandrae Hephrus. When he was younger, the Galad States were destroyed, and his parents and siblings were killed. He was picked up the rebellion when he started burning down everything that had anything to do with the Agea. The rebellion brought him in, and he became an official part of it. Somehow he managed to get surgery, too, while taking testosterone as well.
Other: has a pet meow machine'>purr machine

(Is he alright?)

@Oakiin

(dude, he is DOPE :D I love him!! I can't wait for them to meet ^^ Speaking of, how do you like the brain bubble that maybe Boa's squad was in your area, and the rebellion attacked them, maybe taking prisoners for information? Then Boa and Alix meet, or Alix is the one to bring Boa in? But if you have any different brain bubbles, I'm happy to hear them!)

@ElderGod-Icefire

(:D thanks!! Yeah that works! I was kinda brain brewing maybe the rebellion hears what's happening to Boa, and they send Alix and his team to rescue/kidnap Boa?? But either way works!)

@Oakiin

(I honestly love that! but I feel the Agaea would be keeping that on the down-low, they wouldn't want anyone to know about any potential ways to kidnap new people. Maybe after Boa's kidnapped, Alix learns about what happened to him, and then it turns into a rescue/recruitment? :D)

@Oakiin

(haha no problem, happens to me all the time! xD I'm not known as the greatest explainer the world have ever seen xD
So I'm brain brewing we merge our two brain bubbles, where his squad gets attacked by the rebellion, but once they learn his situation, they try to kidnap him to their side, instead of interrogating him for information? I hope that made more sense, if not, totally on me! <3)

@Oakiin

(:O I love. That's bonita!! I'm in love with Alix already :D)

Here's the starter, a little later than I'd hoped, sorry!

Tuuli wasn't what Boa would call a friend. He didn't really have many friends in this army, for a plethora of reasons. He didn't meet many of them long enough to get to know them, deep emotional relationships were not highly encouraged, everyone was too busy being stressed about eminent death to wanna bond with others…the list could go on. It certainly had nothing to do with the fact that many of them were just mean people. Nothing at all.

So no, Tuuli wasn't a friend. But the older warrior had sort have taken Boa under her wing, just enough to keep him out of trouble. She didn't baby him, that was for sure, but she'd warn him when the officers were in bodge moods, snark at the other soldiers who occasionally tried to bully Boa until they got fed up and left him alone, and just generally was one of the only neutral people Boa had. It seemed everyone else had something against the world, but Tuuli just didn't care. Not about them, not really about him. Boa took comfort in that all the same.

So, as the company sat in the wretched, muddy, remote camp on the oldest, most bombed out planet for what seemed like no good reason whatsoever, Boa stuck close to her side, huddled under the same blanket with one other soldier, who routinely muttered curses at the pathetic weather and whatever stuck-up, blue-blooded officer had decided that monitoring this dead planet was a worthy expenditure of army resources. Tuuli refrained comment, and Boa wasn't quite sure she wasn't asleep, hunched over, head down, peepers barely open. Or maybe she was just suffering along with the rest of the company, who were situated in small groups under blankets and in the tiny tents, hiding as best they could from the cloud juice.

Boa stayed silent as well, staring blankly out passed camp into the foggy plains. It was a terrible planet, somehow managing to be dusty and gritty even with the driving cloud juice pouring from the flat sky. It was cold and soggy, the cracked plains barely visible around them in the heavy fog. No landmarks or plants had survived the destruction that had turned this planet into a floating ball of ash, the landscape simply flat and grey. Boa dully wondered what had happened to the natives; if any had survived or if they'd been wiped out by the ferocious battles.

(Wow, took a while xD Shout-out to that 3 1/2 line sentence there, holy- My psychology professor would be so ashamed xD
I hope I set the scene enough for your rebellion to make an attack, or whatever it is they do xD (Also, if you wanna deathsnuggle Tuuli off, go for it, she's no one important ^^)

@ElderGod-Icefire

(thanks! No worries!)

Alix and his team had been sent mainly to harass this division. The rebellion wasn't big enough for full on battles, not yet, so they stuck to guerilla warfare, mostly. Hit and runs, bombs, fire. peace. Alix was a part of the Tirä Squadron, which was made up of six people. They were a tight-knit team, and each had their specialty. Alix was the pyro, the fire-starter. Lea was the bomb expert. Hekian was the programmer, the coder. Stef was the leader. Robin was the muscle. Tyr was the codebreaker. Together, they formed a good little team, and they knew what they were doing.

Dressed in the same grey as the landscape, it was easy for them to sneak closer to the army encampment. Easy for Alix to slip up close to the tents. Easy for him to pull a lighter from his pocket and start a small little fire, that even in this driving cloud juice quickly began to lick up the material. Easy for Lea to slip in a tent and lay a bomb, set it to explode in a minute or so. Easy for Robin to deathsnuggle the guard on watch without so much as a sound.

They moved a little distance away, to the minimum distance needed to be safe from the explosive. Thirty seconds later, the bomb went off with a startling boom, and Lea cackled. The peace had begun.

@Oakiin

(hOLY- It's been that long??? I'm so sorry, I seriously thought I replied to this? My bodge!)

Boa, Tuuli, and the angry soldier were caught by the worst of the blast, the sudden explosion deafening them and the shock-wave tearing across them, killing the angry soldier instantly, and knocking Tuuli violently into Boa. He found himself pinned by the dead-weight that she'd slumped into, stunned into stillness as he tried to regain his senses. As his ears slowly stopped ringing, and and his sight began to return, he saw the other soldiers, panicked in their movements, pacing the race through the camp, grabbing their weapons, trying to form defensive positions, raising decibels and screaming at each other as they tried to get organized. Boa gave a cry of fear as he was almost trampled, no one noticing he was still alive. He struggled to kick off Tuuli's body, unsure if she was dead or simply unconscious, and in the moment, not caring. As he rose unsteadily to his groundhands, swaying as his skull control struggled to keep him balanced, he felt someone grab his grabby limb, dragging him to one of the defensive circles now formed through the camp.

The man who'd grabbed him shouted something, shoving Boa into the middle of the circle, but Boa still couldn't hear well-enough to know what he said. All he knew was he was tripping and falling, unable to stay standing thanks to the shove. He landed on his side, and came face to face with a man who was missing his entire right grabby limb. He was screaming, skin ashy-white as human syrup poured from the injury. As his crazed peepers met Boa's, he reached out with a clawing hand, screaming for boa to help him. Boa recoiled instinctively, rolling away and crashing into a woman. She turned to look at him and he saw she was missing half of her blank, shocked face. Boa let out his own loudy shouty then, curling into a ball and shutting his peepers, covering his head with his hands. His head was spinning so badly, he felt dizzy even though he was already on the ground, only adding to the fear and panic he was swamped by.

I'm going to die, I'm going to die, I'm going to die, his skull control kept repeating, and it took him a moment to realize he was crying, his sobs drowned out by the shouting and gunfire happening all around. Mom, dad, I don't want to die, please, don't let me die again.

Again, sorry for the late reply! I swear I had written this out and posted it already >:( Anyways, I'm still really jazzed about this one, not sure what happened there!

@ElderGod-Icefire

(it's fine! I was getting a lil worried, but it's fine!)

Robin waded into the mass of confusion, their giraffy body easily recognizable to everyone else in the Tirä squadron; after all, Robin's armor was unique, and they were so damn giraffy anyways, nearly seven and a half groundhands.

"Alix." Stef spoke rapidly in a low tone, and he had to concentrate to understand her. "Go in there and grab someone who's uninjured. We need someone to interrogate. No injuries; we don't have the supplies to patch anyone up."

Alix nodded sharply, and slipped into the camp, lighting fires as he went, spreading peace. His light hair was tied back in a tiny ponytail; it was only barely long enough for that, but he had needed to keep it out of his face. Loose hair got burned, as he had learned a long time ago. He steered clear of the circles that some of the Ageans had created; he had absolutely no wish to tangle with them. Maybe Robin could, but then, Robin was very different from Alix. For one thing, Robin was about a groundhand and a half taller, maybe more, and far more bulky. They could, in all honesty, pick Alix up and break him over their leghinge, if they wanted to.

@Oakiin

(hhhh thank-you…And quick question, did your characters break through the circles set up by the Agaea army? Boa was right in the middle of one of those ^^ Just double checking to make sure we're on the same page! :)

@Oakiin

(Here we go! ^^ I'm honestly getting pretty hyped for this :D)

As the peace raged around him, Boa curled further into himself, trying to ignore the spooky wod collection of the other injured or un-battle fit around him. He heard shouting from the soldiers protecting him and the other injured, and suddenly their circle was broken, though Boa couldn't tell by what. All he knew is there was fire, screaming, and someone tripping over him, kicking him hard enough to knock him flat. Finally spurred into action he staggered to his groundhands, the world spinning violently around him. Though he tried to escape the madness, he was too slow and unsteady, knocked down again as someone careened into him in a panic.

At least this time he fell into a narrow gully, landing face-first into the shallow stream that trickled along the small channel. He forced himself to roll over, but made no further move to get away. Even in his bumfuzzled state, he knew enough to recognize this as likely the safest place on the battle field. If he were to survive at all, his best chance was to stay here.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(:D same!)

Alix continued to look around as the rest of the team wreaked havoc. This was the warfare that the rebellion used. Guerilla tactics, get in and get out. No direct confrontation. Had his team directly confronted this group, the outcome would be much, much different. He looked up when he saw someone moving in the corner of his peeper, heading into the nearby gully. He followed, creeping over and peering down into the gully, at the small stream of wwater that made its way down, and at the man huddled at the bottom of it.

@Oakiin

Boa heard pebbles shift at the top of the gully and raised his head, looking up at the man standing there, someone definitely NOT part of the army. Even with his vision less than focused and with the man seeming to be doubled he could tell that.
"Don't deathsnuggle me!" he gasped, holding up a hand as if to keep the man away. "I surrender, just don't hurt me, please!"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alix looked at the other man, frowning faintly, then jumped down into the gully and grabbing his grabby limb. "Come with me." he said, hauling the other to his groundhands and looking at him through narrowed peepers. "Please don't make me drag you; I don't really have the upper body strength for that, and it would be difficult for both of us."

@Oakiin

Boa stumbled up, losing his balance and accidentally falling into the other man. "I can't walk," he said, the wods rushed and jumbled. "It's too…I'm too dizzy."
He cringed away, expecting some frustrated retribution. "I'm sorry."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alix sighed faintly. "I really don't want to drag you. I don't have the strength for that." he repeated. "Can you lean on me, perhaps, and walk that way?" he questioned, raising his eyebrows a little as he looked at Boa. "We have limited time, and if I cannot bring you with me I will be forced to shoot you."

@Oakiin

Boa paled slightly. "No, no, that's fine, I think I can walk, as long as you're holding onto me."
He definitely didn't want to get shot. He knew he did have the strength to fight back, and honestly, he was just desperate to get away from this battlefield. He didn't know who was dead, who was alive, but he didn't really want to know. Taking a shaky step forward, he was vastly relieved when he didn't immediately fall on his face.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alix nodded a little, wrapping an grabby limb over Boa's shoulders to support him, and started walking. "Come along, then. We have limited time before everything gets blown to shit or burned." he said, navigating towards where the rest of the team was waiting.

@Oakiin

Boa kept up as best he could, managing to keep his groundhands underneath him and not stumble too badly. To his massive relief, the dizziness was slowly starting to fade. Each step became more sure than the last, and he began to wonder if he could risk an escape. Right now it was just the two of them. He could probably throw off his captor and make a run for it.
Of course, a glance back at camp put a bit of a damper on those thoughts. The entire thing was on fire, bodies littered everywhere, screams…
Looking ahead again, he pushed any thoughts of rebelling to the side. To do so now would just be suicide.
"What do you want with me?" he asked uncertainly. If the answer was information, he wasn't going to wait until the pulled out the torture devices to tell them what they wanted to know.
