Hello everyone! Thanks for taking a look at this rp!

Summary: At 18 years old, everyone can see the physical manifestation of their spirit animal! Your character along with three others have been lucky enough to reach this age and meet your companion. But a darkness is rising in the mountains as a wicked group of undead warriors known as the Blizzard Rogues seek to destroy this bond forever. But who is their leader? And is there something more sinister hidden in plain sight?

Criteria:

-To join this rp you must be prepared to write for too characters, one human and one spirit animal. (You cannot be your own character’s spirit animal.)

-I ask that you try to write three to six sentences for both of your characters every time in order to avoid one liners. Sometimes less is necessary, and that’s understandable, but do not make this a common occurrence.

-Grammar and spelling are easy to mess up, and I do it quite often myself. Please try to edit your posts if you see any major mistakes.

-When talking out of character put ( ) or (( )) around your text. I am also fine with making an out of character chat if that’s preferable.

-Kindness counts! Please don’t be rude to each other, notebook is meant to be a fun and welcoming community for everyone. If you have issues with someone else please handle them on your own. Also, do NOT take actions that occur in the rp personally. If one character does not like yours, do not take this to mean your are not valued or respected!

-Please only take actions for your characters. Saying: “He kills everyone” and not giving your fellow writers a chance to react can be frustrating. There is more than one main character here. This is a group effort, not a one man show. Alternatives are saying your character “attempts” to do something instead of taking the action.

-Follow all of the official notebook rules as well!

Other Info:

-This has a medieval type setting, but feel free to use common diction (no ye olde jargon please)

-The beginning will take place in the small village of Pinesville. Characters will work their way from the village to the Bleakwood (an ominous forest) then through The Thornfeild (a valley) and end up in the Bladed Mountains.

-Gore is allowed and appreciated! Along with shipping, but smut is not.

-Try to post at least once a day to keep this active. If you are gone for more than 7 days without any notice we may start looking to fill your spot unless you notify me first.

-Once all the spots are filled we will work out who the spirit animals are matched up with! :)

Appearance:
Looks: Long, wavy black hair and silver eyes. She's lightly muscled with dark skin, and lash scars on her back and shoulder blades, visible on top of and below a map of the galaxy. Her forearms are covered with star maps, that she uses to help find her way when lost. She's not too tall, at 5'7, and seems to have a slightly mischievous smile affixed on her face always.
Clothing: Tight pants and boots, with sleeveless shirts. Doesn't usually wear jackets or cloaks, because she likes the cold. Her sword is strapped to her waist.
Personality: Adventurous and thrill seeking, but fairly emotionally closed off. Pretty much always on the verge of a mental breakdown. A thirst for knowledge and answers, and incredibly resourceful. Still keeps finding herself in trouble. Flirty, but turns into an absolute mess when flirted with.
Skills/Hobbies: Adores music and singing. Extremely resourceful, think MacGyver. Is incredible with kids, and they love listening to her tell stories.
Weaponry: A short sword with a serrated blade. Keeps knives in her boots.
Powers: It's persuasion, basically. She can plant the seed of an idea or thought in a person's head, in order to get them to do something.

Name: Paxton Gates (Goes by Pax)

Appearance: Stands at 6’3” with thick, fluffy auburn hair that’s been messily cut short. He has hazel eyes with flecks of grey in them, making them look a little dull and a muscled, burly build. Freckles dot his olive toned skin, and his hands and feet are rough and calloused. For clothing he wears a battered pair of boots, a pair of black trousers, and a plain beige tunic.
Personality: Pax lives up to his name by being generally peaceful and shy. He tends to be rather serious and often misses jokes and innuendos. He is aware he’s a good fighter, but the sight of blood, especially on friends, freaks him out. He tries his best to be helpful, but handles physical labor much better than emotional support.
Skills/Hobbies: A talent for heavy lifting and quite a good dancer.
Weaponry: A large double bladed battle axe.
Powers: Can grow thorns from his skin (like a stone skin but instead with the thorns of a rose) these thorns leave small puncture wounds where they erupt on his skin, causing small amounts of bleeding.
Background: Grew up poor in a house of many children. His father owned a a farm, which led to him carrying large sacks of grain and tending to animals. Most of his family died of illness when he was fifteen.
Additional Info: Sensitive about his past and a bit of a hypochondriac as well.

Personality: Perhaps not as wise as your average talking owl, but very sweet to her human. She works best as a spy, blending in well with trees and using her wings to get intel or a new vantage point. Although she sometimes can’t keep her beak shut.
Additional Info: Loves to ride on her human’s shoulder.

Name: Faith Alexandra Bonnerly
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Sexuality: Straight

She’s got a fairly petite figure, and is 5’7”.
As for her general attire, she loves to wear tan/light brown clothes with hints and accents of colour (through jewelry and pins). Favours short but elfin boots and woven bracelets, as well as a slightly battered newsboy cap.
Personality: Outgoing, quirky, extroverted. Very stubborn, needs a large group of friends to function properly, sort of a physical manifestation of organized chaos. Hopeless romantic, second-guesses herself a lot, thinks a surprising amount before she speaks, likes to make people laugh.
Skills/Hobbies: An expert and molding and creating sculptures from clay, particularly lifelike dragon-golems. Accurate aim, good hand-eye coordination. Fast sprinter but has little to no endurance, very artistic, creative, and thoughtful. Pretty agile and flexible.
Weaponry: Boomerang throwing knives and double short-staves
Additional Info: Left-handed. She has the ability to put a bit of her essence/life force into clay objects she makes, but each time she does, she loses a few days/weeks of her life.

Appearance: Golden accents in his mane and an elaborate beaded (wooden) necklace.
Personality: Neither a leader nor a follower, but isn’t afraid to take initiative. Surprisingly artistic, panics easily but hides it well. Constantly curious (even for an adolescent), fairly responsible, but likes to have a bit of fun.
