Cairo caught the USB and looked at it for a moment, a surprised smile on his face. “This does seem rather old. I’m surprised how long you’ve been doing this for. Even I just started eight years ago,” he chuckled softly before tossing the USB he was given back where it came from. “Any questions you wanted to ask me back?”

Casey thought for a moment, but coming up with nothing important he went to the next best thing, "what is your favorite color?". He asked with a shrug, sitting back down in his chair and turning on his computers. He was going to check the website again. This time to see just how many people had signed up.
On the website, it showed that the number of people who signed up for the ‘project’ had went up to a hundred and twenty thousand names. This was only the first day and already an eighth of a million people were going to just disappear if they still agreed to do the project.
“Red.” Cairo answered, slightly confused. “I think I like how it’s a very… sensual and fiery color. Full of emotion and sort of genuine, you know. How about yours?”
"green," He said pointing to the screen that had codes only. The numbers were a bright neon green. "I mean, I like red also, but green is more of uh…something I stare at all day so if I didn't like it, well that would be quite frustrating" He said quietly, not really paying attention to the conversation as he started typing, hacking back into the system.
Cairo went quiet too as he focused on the other man’s coding. He stood to the side of the man, leaning down to look at the screen as if to try and understand how Casey did all his work. It wasn’t long before the first layer of guarded code was taken down, revealing the names of those who have signed up for the project in alphabetical order. “125,734…” Cairo murmured, noticing the numbers above the list of names. He scowled quietly before turning to Casey. “Hacking into the server for longer than thirty minutes can reveal your location. You better act quick if you want to find certain information,”
Casey took out his phone and took a picture of the list of names, scrolling down so that he could get them all before logging out of the server. "I don't know what I am looking for yet, but I have a feeling after this whole thing, these names will disappear, so having them might come in handy" he said grimly. He turned to the computer that showed the code of the site and typed in a short code. A few of the numbers turned red. "those are weak points" he muttered before going back to the other computer and opening the page of coded commands. He changed a few before standing up and walking to his kitchen, "I need a drink, want anything?"
“Anything that does not have poison is fine by me, thank you,” Cairo answered, himself looking at the numbers that have turned red. “Fascinating…” he murmured as he examined the system that was used to execute the command. At that moment, he realized something. If he was caught helping the public by spreading information about the government, surely he would be hunted down no matter where he was. That meant that Casey would be in trouble as well if he got caught… it wasn’t something he wanted. “Have you actually eaten anything yet?”
Casey came back with two sodas, "ate? nope." he shrugged. It hadn't crossed his mind to eat, normally he just snacked during the day. He sat the drinks down on a counter far from his computers, he never ate nor drank near them while he was working. "I had a drink earlier..but I forgot what I did with it" he shrugged. "Why does it matter if I have eaten?'. He asked opening his soda and taking a drink.
“Just thought you should eat something. Maybe we could even go out together to find something to eat?” He offered, smiling cheekily to Casey before he took a sip of the soda he was given. “It’d be my treat though. I gotta spend the Doves’ credits I have somehow,”
Casey blushed and hid his face by taking another drink, "y-yeah, just a casual…lunch? what time is it anyway" because he didn't bother to check the time. "and besides, its not like I have money to spare" He muttered rolling his eyes.
“Just a casual lunch. It’s… nearly noon so it’s the perfect time. What do you want to eat? I can do anything,” he, again, after taking a swig of the drink, had smiled cheekily to Casey. “Just a casual lunch with just you and me.”
(casually almost chokes on drink)
He coughs, "I uh, don't eat out … like ever." he said and mumbled, "it's too depressing to go alone" He looked at his drink, avoiding looking at Cairo.

“Well you have me to go with you,” Cairo shrugged, nearly finishing his drink as he had been thirsty since the morning. He sighed softly before thinking about something. “How does seafood sound to you? Fresh fishes, prawns, crabs, and all that,”

Casey made a disgusted face without realizing it, "uh…I don't eat seafood." He said trying not to be rude. he set his drink down, mostly unfinished.

Cairo nodded before he tried to think about something else. “How about pasta? There’s an Italian restaurant not too far away from here I think. Maybe there would be better?”

Casey's eyes lit up. "Yeah sure" He said casually as to hide his obvious excitement.
“You’re really not good at hiding your excitement,” Cairo chuckled softly as he shook his head with a smile. “That’s adorable,” he added in a murmured tone before he finished his drink, gesturing to it as if to ask where he could throw away the empty can.
Casey blushed slightly at this and pointed to the kitchen where the trash can was. He picked up his own drink and walked to the fridge putting it back in there.
Cairo turned to the kitchen and went to throw the empty can away, yawning slightly. He then remembered something and was planning to make good use of such a weird concept. “It is authority’s duty to make sure those who have done wrong do not escape at any given time,” he got out something that resembled a pair of handcuffs but were clearly made to be more technologically advanced than the typical cuffs. “I hope you don’t mind putting these on for me while we’re walking there,”
Casey paused before turning to face Cairo, a slight blush still on his face, "c-can you repeat that?" he said obviously having not been paying attention to what Cairo had said.
The officer blinked a bit before he sighed and went over to Casey, cuffing his wrist with one of the handcuffs while he cuffed his own wrist with the other side. “There,” he cuffed them in a way that his left hand was close to Casey’s right hand. “It will look like I’m taking someone into custody when in reality it’s just a lunch,” he smiled cheekily before he placed his index finger on the side of his neck, a black mask with a white ‘X’ symbol on it emerging from his neck and covering his face. “I’m doing this for your own safety,” he added, his voice slightly muffled and lowered as a result of wearing the mask.
Casey nodded momentary staring at the handcuffs before looking up at Cairo with a mixed expression. "Lunch…" He mumbled running his free hand through his hair knocking his glasses off his face they landed on the floor behind him and he just stared forward. "great job Case, just knock them into the floor" he muttered to himself.
Cairo blinked a moment before he knelt down to get the glasses, staring down at them for a second. He turned back to Casey and smiled softly behind the mask, using both of his hands to place Casey’s glasses on the man’s face, readjusting it for him before he lowered his mask enough that he could see clearly. “There,” he stared into the other’s eyes, inches away from his face for a few long seconds before he pulled his mask back up to cover his entire face. “Much better,”
Casey blushed at how close Cairo got and bit his lip subconsciously, "th-thanks…s-so" he cleared his throat, "lets go to get lunch then." he said looking at the floor.
’He’s so cute…’ he thought before nodding.
“Yeah, let’s,” Cairo started pulling Casey along, making sure that the door was locked when they left. A lot of people looked towards them and immediately turned away when they saw that it was probably just a Dove doing their duty.
It took something like ten minutes, but eventually, they reached the restaurant that Cairo wanted them to eat at. He entered the restaurant with Casey. A ‘waiter robot’ had come to them with a big smile on its face.
“Welcome! How may I help you today!”
On the robot’s chest, a digital interface was present. Cairo had reached forward to press on the ‘Private Room’ button as the robot nodded. ”Please, follow me!”
With that, the robot started making its way around the crowded tables in the dining hall with Cairo pulling Casey along just behind it. After passing through some curtains, Cairo and Casey was shown to a private room which seemed oddly… romantic. There was a clothed table for two in the middle of the room, a glass chandelier above it with candles on stands around the room. The robot gestured inside the room to which Cairo pulled Casey in, thanking the robot.
”When you wish to order, just press the button by the door.” The humanoid robot mentioned before it closed the door, leaving Casey and Cairo in the room.
The carpeted floor was filled with scattered rose petals with the overall lighting of scarlet red and the furniture to give a slightly erotic tone. Cairo had taken off his mask and allowed it to shrink back into the chip it was before. “What do you think?” The officer turned to ask Casey as he was pulling him along towards the table, unlocking the handcuffs so the other man would walk around the room freely.
