"Grocery store!" she hummed as she pulled out of the driveway. She carefully made her way there, her eyes basically glued onto the road. She soon pulled up to a small grocery store they went to frequently after school. "We're here" she purred, looking over at him joyously. The lights were on for the night-time around the little shop next to a gas station, the neon signs inside reflecting off her own eyes.
He glanced over at her and then couldn't help but stare. Mesmerized. He'd been slowly developing a childish crush on his best friend for a while, but right now it really hit him hard how gorgeous she was. The way the neon lights highlighted her skin and silky hair; reflected off her unique eyes; outlined her features–he swallowed and forced himself to keep his voice even as he spoke. "Indeed we are." Cue the mental facepalm. Seriously, Wolf? That's all you could come up with? Not, 'Great, 'cause I'm starving!' or anything normal???
She smiled softly, watching him carefully. His was so freaking perfect. Just everything about him even the things he thought was flaw she thought, knew that it was just perfect. She stayed there for a moment, just watching the natural colours of his eyes shine through in the lights. She sighed softly, blushing and looking down at her lap. She looked back up at him, brushing a strand of hair from her face behind her ear, "Shall we?" she asked, the pink hue still on her cheeks.
(Sorry. I had gym for an hour and could get on my phone)
Oh it’s ok! Sorry if I was being annoying
(It's okay! I understand)
(I'll reply in a few minutes.)
Wulfric grinned, hiding his own blush from being caught, and unbuckled. "C'mon, I'm really craving ice cream. And Cin wants me back before three o'clock in the morning."
(Cinthia is Wolf's older twin sister. Just ignore the magical parts. I'm altering a few things to make this more realistic. And make it so that Wolf isn't strictly gay…)
“You coming in?” She asked, running her fingers and red painted fingernails along the strings of the hoodie. Her face was bright pink now but she was hoping that the red light would hide it
"Yup." He popped the p, then looked back over to her as he placed his hand on the door handle. God, she was looking really good tonight. But why the sudden shift? She was just wearing a hoodie and leggings. Nothing extravagant. But it's her. He quickly looked away, hoping she hadn't caught him staring again.
“Yea” she replied, unclipping her seat belt and unlocking the car door for the both of them. She hopped out, her bun bouncing behind her. She grabbed her wallet out of the car. He was looking more attractive than ever, maybe it was the lighting? She’d had a crush on him for a while now, about 2 years. She tried to shrug it off but it was hard too, especially the nights he stayed over and they basically slept ontop of eachother
Wolf climbed out as well, ducking his head to avoid hitting it again–he'd done it who knows how many times over the years. He swept a hand towards the grocery door, then stuffed his hands in his hoodie pocket. His dull gray eyes crinkled in a smile. "Ladies first." His gentlemanly act was fake and they both knew it. He was never a gentleman when he could avoid it. His own mind wandered to a possible late night once again, and he considered telling his twin that he didn't feel like hanging out with the older siblings.
She bounded in, subconsciously avoiding eye contact with the cashier. She waltzed over to the fridges, opening the one that they usually did. “What are we feeling tonight?” She asked, turning back to look at him. Her curves were very prominently displayed in this lighting, her hips being outlined in the bright lights of the fridge.
Wolf's eyes involuntarily roamed over her body, his mind going blank. He forgot she even asked a question. He licked his lips, then bit his bottom lip as he snapped back into reality. "Umm–ah–how about some chocolate marshmallow?" Smooth, Wolf. Real smooth.
She turned back to him, her blush deepening when she noticed he was biting his lip. “A-alright” she muttered, stumbling over her words. Why was she being so weird today? She never got her tongue caught. She let her hands graze over the shelves, her mind completly out of sort as she completely missed the s'mores tub.
(I'm here! Worry not! Just a short English essay.)
His lip quirked up when she missed the tub the fifth time in a row. He stepped up behind her and reached up, easily plucking two tubs of s'mores ice cream from the shelf.
She nearly exploded when he came up behind her, her lip tucking into her teeth and biting enough to make it bleed. “T-thanks” she muttered, turning around to look up at him, her body pressed up against the fridge door. “W-we should go pay then… i-if that’s it” she hummed, her eyes never moving from his
He didn't move away, just looked down at her from where he loomed above. She's stuttering. That's new. She only stutters when she's nervous. Like the animal he was named after, he cocked his head slightly in curiosity, not speaking a word as he tried figuring her out.
“W-wolf” she muttered, her cheeks and nose pinking just to add something uncontrollable to the mix of her showing her emotion. “W-why are you staring a-at me?” She stuttered again, subconsciously glancing down at his lips before returning it to his eyes
He smirked, hiding his true feelings expertly from the years of crushing on her–hard. He tweaked her nose playfully and backed away. "You're spacing out and jumbling words. So unlike you."
She played with the hem of his sweater, wondering if he noticed when her knuckles or fingertips grazed of his stomach. "W-Well…I'm…" she struggled for an excuse until remembering the time, "Tired" she finished, looking up at him, a subconscious coy expression on her face.
