(Sure :D)
He nodded and turned so that he was sitting sideways on the couch, pulling her closer, "You have amazing powers, ones that could easily let you rule the world. You do realize that right?" He said, "I will do everything I can to protect you from your powers if that's what you want me to do, tell me what to do and I'll try my absolute best."
"That's why they scare me. With a click of my fingers, I can bring back brother my family and yours."
"Would they really be back?" He asked softly but hopefully, "Completely back?"
"Yeah. But then we never would have met. Our lives were separate."
He went silent, biting his lip as he thought, "I love them so much…but they're gone now…" He shook his head slowly and kissed the top of her head, "I'll keep you, as much as I want them back I also want you to stay,"
Sometimes I wish I had them more than you. Gwen thought to herself, knowing that if she said it out loud Caston would leave.
"Do you have any more questions?" Caston asked, tilting his head slightly and scooting further down on the couch so he was almost laying down, his head propped up on the edge of the couch.
"No," Gwen replied, adjusting her position to be more like Caston's.
"You like New York City in the daytime
I like New York City in the nighttime
You say you like sleeping with the air off
I don't, I need it on," She sang softly.
He closed his eyes and smiled lightly, listening to her singing and debating whether or not to join in as well. He hummed along softly and just sang in his head.
"You like the light coming through the windows
I sleep late, so I just keep 'em all closed
You ignore the music on the radio
I don't, I sing-a-long"
He join in and made his voice deep to contrast hers, a small smile still on his face.
"I don't ask for you to change, baby no no no
And you don't ask for me to change"
"Tell me how we're not alike
But we work so well and we don't even know why
Funny how the stars crossed right
'Cause we work so well and we don't even know why"
"You can call it fire and ice
But we work so well and we don't even know why
We don't even know why, no no
We don't even know why, no no no"
He sang, feeling himself grow a little bit sleepy.
"No no no no
We like it in the daytime
We like it in the end of time
No no no no
We like it in the daytime
We like it in the end of time"
"Cold outside and you're just in a t-shirt
I have cold blood even in a sweater
You start your night sippin' by the kilo
I don't, I know you know"
He felt himself start to drift to sleep, the last few words quieter as he nodded off.
"I don't ask for you to change, baby no no no
And you don't ask for me to change" Gwen sang, feeling herself starting to get sleepy.
He was asleep already, an arm wrapped around her. His chest rose and fell with every breath and he looked peaceful again, clearly happy where he was with her.
"Tell me how we're not alike
But we work so well and we don't even know why
Funny how the stars crossed right
'Cause we work so well and we don't even know why" Gwen sang, trailing off as she fell asleep.
He just gave a tiny nod in response. The couch was quite comfy as well, the only improvement could be a blanket since he wasn't used to sleeping without one covering him.
Gwen snuggled into Caston, almost asleep.
He shifted so that she was laying ontop of him, her head on his chest as he buried a hand in her hair and kept another on her back.
"Je t'aime plus que les mots ne peuvent le dire," She whispered.
Caston shivered lightly and pulled her closer to himself for warmth, running his hand through her hair and holding onto a handful every so often before continuing.
Gwen reached her hand out beside her, not wanting to move. She picked up the blanket laying on the ground beside the couch and pulled it over them.
He hummed lightly in response to the blanket before falling asleep completely, a stray piece of hair falling into his face as he moved around slightly so that the blanket was covering most of him and her.
