There was a wave of nods and replies, everyone with a smile on their faces. Finn went to where he had set down his script and picked it up. The volume in the classroom rose as the rest of the cast went to do the same. Finn returned to where they had played the game to wait for the cast.
Abe grabbed his script as well, flicking to the first page. He and Brick- or Jojo, if you were going by character names, which he often did- had great chemistry as they acted out the first scene. They were still in that awkward phase where you just read your lines , but they were also trying to play around. Abe planned to be off-book by the next two weeks, anyway. It was better to get a vague grip on your lines and blocking rather than just your lines.
