Here I am, back at it again. Not that I need another roleplay, but it's fine lol. Anyway, I don't really have a solid idea and what I do have is super flexible.
Two people, high school aged, that don't necessarily like each other, get the two lead roles a musical/play and, of course, things blossom from there.
Again, this is super flexible.

Just a few things
-Andrew's rules
-LGBTQ+ is loved here
-Please try to use proper grammar, some mistakes are totally fine though
-Swearing is totally fine
-Keep it pg-13, I'm not comfortable with writing smut and that kind of thing
-No one-liners, please
Definitely! So, you good with the very incomplete idea or do you have something else in mind?
I’m good with it! The theatre kid in me is living for this. What production are we thinking?
Perfect. But I literally have no idea. I'm a decently new theatre kid so I don't know many lol, but hey, I'm working on it.
Honestly? I’m on a Seussical kick rn. Super simple storyline, but I recommend it! Tbh, I have a character who would be the perfect Cat in the Hat, but lmk if you have something else in mind!
Also do you have a template?
I mean, that works for me. I don't know anything about it, but I'll just roll with the punches, and probably listen to it while doing so lol.
And yes, I do have a template, I'll post it in just a second.

Cool, cool, thank you! I’ll get my boy up soon! Can we include links?
Definitely. I'll get mine up soon as well.
Name: Abraham Walton
Nicknames: Abe (Preferred over Abraham)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi with a female preference
Appearance: This is his general faceclaim (minus the eyes, of course). Abe is roughly 6’5” and lanky, seemingly unable to grow into his limbs. He keeps his dark brown hair in short twists and keeps pretty clean-shaven. Abe has a pretty large birthmark taking up a good chunk of his left shoulderblade.
Clothing/Style: His clothing style is pretty laid-back and casual with vintage inspirations. He likes to be comfortable, usually wearing mostly darker and earthier colors like deep greens and red. This is similar to his normal outfit. He has silver glasses pretty similar to these frames.
Personality: Abe is described by others as incredibly charismatic with an attractive, goofy personality. He seems to be the life of the party no matter where he goes, constantly trying to make everyone laugh. His bark is much worse than his bite, though his bark gets bad. Abe is loyal and likes to keep a large amount of friends, constantly trying to make newcomers to the theatre program feel comfortable.
Hobbies/Talents: Abe is exceedingly good at voices and impressions, pretty decent at singing, and he’s been in theatre ever since he can remember. In his spare time (though between school, theatre, and work, he doesn’t have much), he likes to hang out in the woods behind his neighborhood with his friends and be overall pretty stupid. Painting and prop-making is a big passion of his, which means he essentially does acting and tech.
Other: Works at a local Dairy Queen, meaning he often has to leave rehearsals a few minutes early to go to work. He’s also left handed and afraid of horses.
(Agh, Finley is sick! I can already think up a few situations for possible conflict!)
(I love Abe as well!! Is there anything else we need to figure out before we start?)
(Not really, other than what part is Finn tryna get? I assume either the Cat or Horton, if we’re doing Seuss? Other than that, we can go ahead and start!)
(Well, since you said Abe is good for the Cat, then I guess Finn'll go for Horton? Lol I don't know.)
(That works! Do you mind starting, or should I?)
(I can start, unless you have an idea to start it. But I can get that up in a bit, if you don't have a specific idea.)
(I don’t, go ahead! Thank you!)
(No problem :)
The day had finally come. The day where everyone gets to see what role they got in this year's musical. Finley was honestly very nervous, he just hoped he had a lead, even though he wasn't a senior. The day was almost over, and he still hadn't had the chance to go look at the role list. Thankfully, his last class was in the direction of the drama classroom, so he'd be able to steal a glance at the list.
When the bell rang and the cast list was posted, Abraham was already there with the other people from last period. Thankfully, he had theatre last period, so he got the first chance to catch a peek at the cast list. He was swarmed with other people and he was swarming them, towering above them as they celebrated together. “I got it! I got the fucking Cat! Oh my god!” He laughed, hugging his friend. She had been cast as Gertrude, a part that she had obsessed over since the musical was announced last year.
(Imma reply tomorrow. gn :)
Finn's next class was, sadly, not theatre. His was history, so seeing what part he got would make or break that class. Getting ensemble would definitely destroy all hope of ever doing theatre again. Turning the corner, he saw the large crowd of high schoolers, all of wildly different reactions and emotions to what parts they got. Feeding off the energy of the crowd, Finley picked up his walking pace and, with some effort, pushed through the crowd. Scanning the cast list he panicked for a second, unable to see his name. But with a closer look, he saw his name. Looking across the page, he saw his role, 'Horton The Elephant'. His eyes and smile grew wide. "Yeaahh!! Fuckin' broadway you'd better watch yourselves, here I come!" He didn't say it to anyone, in particular, mostly just to put it out there and for himself.
And then he was consoling another girl. She had auditioned for every role under the sun, but the director didn’t exactly like her or her attitude, so she was stuck in ensemble again. He and a small cluster of other people huddled around the girl, trying to calm her down. Note that Abe was not a fan of her, but he needed to kick off the show on the right foot with everybody. “Oh, shoot- did, uh- did Ms. Nobles post the rehearsal schedule yet? I gotta tell my boss.”
Finn was one of the many trying to calm the girl down. He was always jumping around different groups, trying to be friendly to everyone as well. He never had a set group to be with, at least in theatre. "It's okay, Sarah, you're only a sophomore, so I bet you'll get a bigger part next year, senior year for sure. You should get to class though before you're late and make yourself feel even worse, okay?" He tried to convince her. He was also saying that because he really had to go. Before she said anything, he stepped back and backed away from the crowd, catching sight of Abe, he smiled at him and started heading off to his class.
“Just work your ass off this show, and show the stage managers and directors that you have a good attitude, okay?” Abe patted her shoulder, sending Sarah off to class. He and he friends went into the drama room, joining the many people beginning to dissipate from the bulletin board. Before he left, though, Abe snatched up a rehearsal schedule. He hadn’t seen many others do that. Rookie mistake.
He flopped down in his desk, stashing away his books and still talking excitedly about the show. Their school gave theatre a larger budget than most, so their shows were always as over-the-top as they could afford.
(since you mentioned that they may not like each other, what if Finn is a few minutes late to the first rehearsal? Abe takes theatre hella seriously, so this would definitely leave a bad taste in his mouth!)
(Ooo that sounds good :)
Finley prefers taking pictures of documents, like the rehearsal schedule. So he had done just that before speeding off to class. He wished he hadn't spent so much time trying comfort Sarah, but it was just part of theatre he decided.
A second or two after he sat down in his class, the bell rang, a rush of relief washing over him. Of course, the only thing he could focus on was the musical and the first rehearsal which was right after school. He had to do something else after school, which was a bad mixture, but he hoped it was possible to be quick then head straight to theatre.
