(better?)
(yeah, thanks
i kinda just have like a vision in my head, if you know what i mean)
Name: Cordelia Jones
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Lesbian
Appearance: Long, wavy warm brown hair with gold highlights, fair skin, and blue gray eyes. She is a bit tall for her age, and a bit lanky, with most of her height coming from her legs. Her face is round, and she rarely ever bothers to put on makeup.
Elemental Appearance: A river of watery hair flowing down her back, ice blue skin, and a similar body type to her normal appearance. Her eyes become a much clearer blue.
Style: Knee length pleated skirts, loose blouses, and white high top sneakers. Sometimes wears an oversized blue cardigan when it's cold, and has thick black glasses over her eyes.
Personality: Shy, sweet, pretty easy going, but determined to get her things done, no matter how long it takes (resulting in late assignments). She is kind and gental, but if you piss her off, you better run. Her moods can change quickly. But she is always loyal and will go to war for someone she cares about.
Likes: Books, swimming, writing, music, warm drinks
Dislikes: Jerks, loud noises, actually having to fight people (She will, but she doesn't like it)
Background: Cordelia's parents spent all their time by the ocean. They were upset at having to move shortly after Cordelia's birth, her father's job at the time having them change location. They spent the night before her birth looking over at there favorite spot, her mother (an artist) was painting. However, her father had fallen to the waves below. He didn't survive, and her mother went through with the move more willingly afterwards.
Element: Water
Powers/Abilities: Controlling water, changing state.
Other: Nah

@Icefire do you maybe wanna take he air spot, since you just missed getting in?)
(sure! Air? Want me to make a male character or female, or do you not care?)
(I don't really mind, but it would be cool to make them male to even it out a bit (everyone so far is female except Memphis, who is non-binary (except they don't really count)))
(alright cool lol)
(so juts post them when they're done)
Name: Alexander James Sovin
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: biromantic
Appearance: Alexander, who usually goes by Alex, is tall, with white blond hair and silvery grey eyes. He is a bit pale, with freckles scattered across his nose. He is built rather thin, with a defined jaw and cheekbones. He has a long scar running lengthwise down his arm, and a few scattered across his arms and torso, though not many. His hair, lengthwise, is straight, and goes to about his shoulders. He typically keeps it tied back and out of his face, though a few strands often escape and hang in his face.
Elemental Appearance: His skin goes a pure white, and sometimes even goes translucent, making him look a bit ghostly. The irises of his eyes almost seem to bleed color into the whites and pupils of his eyes, until his eyes are a complete, solid silver that almost glows. His hair usually snaps free from the tie, and turns into a current of wind blowing around his head.
Style: Wears just casual, comfy stuff. Grey t shirt, dark pants or jeans. Jacket.
Personality: Alex is a polite, rather easy going person. He can, however, have a bit of a temper, and sometimes has issues controlling his temper. He is very loyal to his friends and family, and doesn't place his full trust easily. Once his trust is broken, it can be very difficult, if not impossible, to win it back. He can be very kind, though he can also be very cold and merciless, when necessary. He is very intelligent, with a quick wit and easy manner.
Likes: a challenge. The truth. Learning new things. Warmth, though he doesn't mind the cold. Heights.
Dislikes: Idiots. Small spaces (he's claustrophobic). Airplanes (because of small spaces). Peanut butter cookies (don't ask).
Background: (can I just…add more in RP as we go?) Alex is an only child, and his mother died when he was seven years old, leaving his father to care for him. His father eventually remarried, and his stepmother hates him, as he looks a lot like his mother, who had the same hair, skin, and build. The only thing he inherited from his father is his eyes. He has been public schooled all his life.
Element: Air
Powers/Abilities: Flight, by manipulating the air around him to lift himself. He can control the air temperature. Can create/summon tornadoes, gales, and strong gusts of wind if he concentrates enough. Can make others fly, though not as easily or for as long as himself. If there is a hurricane/Gale/tornado happening, he can create a windless zone where the storm/tornado won't penetrate. Conversely, he can also create a concentrated storm in a small area, without it affecting the nearby area.

Maths. The subject that most students hated. This was increasingly evident in Ms Henrie's class, as no one seemed to be doing what they were supposed to be. At first glance, it might appear that Dalia Lylun was doing what she had to be. Except, she wasn't. She was doodling in her book.
(so their awakening may happen really fast or it might happen kinda slowly)
Alex was tapping his pencil on his notebook in a bored manner, his English homework sitting open beside him. Maths was boring. He aced it, still, but used the class basically as a study hour, working on other homework during class. Case in point, his English homework. Which was also boring, and he really wished it were more interesting.
(So like…what exactly happens when they awaken?)
Thalia was studying diligently. She was probably the only person who actually didn't mind mathematics. Granted, she wasn't the best at the subject, but that's exactly why she was studying. She was muttering under her breath as she read and solved the problems. She really had no qualms with being in that class. It was actually enjoyable, with it being so quiet.
Cordelia was working through her problems, looking around the room occasionally. She hated it, but she had to push through it. If she finished early, she could read her book. She pushed her glasses up with the tip of her pencil and leaned over it. But honestly, she wanted something interesting.
(So like…what exactly happens when they awaken?)
(basically their skin, hair and eyes will start to change)
Dalia glanced up and out the window, wanting to get inspiration from the outside world. She caught her reflection in the window and her eyes widened, her mouth becoming agape. It appeared that she had a sudden birthmark, something that wasn't there before. She quickly whipped out her phone, using the front-facing camera to see her face. Something was definitely wrong with her skin. It was mostly a soft orange, minus a few spots here and there of her natural skin colour. She put her phone down and looked at the rest of her body, which was slowly being taken over by the same orange colour. "What the fuck?!" She yelled, not caring about her language. Possibly getting a detention was less worrying than turning a literal orange.
(okay)
Alex turned at hearing the shout, and his eyes widened. "What the…" He trailed off, staring. What? What was happening? He didn't understand why…he frowned slightly. Could he help? Was there a way he could help?
Thalia sighed a long, suffering sigh. There's always something that distracts me. She looked over at Dalia and raised an eyebrow.
Cordelia jumped when someone screamed, turning to the sound. "Oh, that's odd." She remarked, not really processing the situation yet. Her mind was still half stuck in the "gotta do this gotta get this done." mode.
"What do you mean odd, Cordelia?" Dalia yelled at her classmate. "I'm fucking orange!" She wasn't normally the type of person to swear, but she was literally orange. And she wasn't supposed to be. "You can't speak: you're turning blue!"
Alex raised an eyebrow slightly, looking from Cordelia to Dalia and back. "Well fuck." He said to no one in particular, biting his lower lip.
Cordelia looked down at her hands, and sure enough, they were blue. "Huh." She said, raising an eyebrow. "That is also odd."
"Dalia! Your hair's on fire!" A girl in the class yelled. Dalia grabbed her phone, and sure enough, so it was.
"Something is really wrong. I'm not supposed to be orange and have fire for hair, and Cordelia isn't supposed to be blue!"
Cordelia nodded. "It really isn't. Miss, may we go to the nurse?" She asked, calmly.
