ok so vampires it is the other vampire rp plot's was…lemme just find it…uh here it is

Character A has run away from home and after various days of traveling, they find themselves in the middle of a storm, lost in a forest, hungry and tired. Luckily for them, there's a mansion up ahead and they decide to break in to take shelter from the rain, and to rest a bit. Little do they know that the mansion they decide to break into is the residence of Character B, who just happens to be a vampire.

it's in like a fantasy/modern setting (like humans and magical creatures all live together in harmony. like idk if you've seen onwards but it's something like that)

do you wanna do that or should we do something different that has vampires in it?

This is literally like- a really old oc I just took and revamped lmaoo

Name: Artemia

Nickname (if any): Mia

Gender/pronouns: female, she/her

Age: Looks 22, but is actually 222 years old (she's basically a young adult by vampire standards)

Sexuality: Pansexual

Appearance: Artemia has brown skin, long white hair (it stops at her waist), purple eyes than turn red if she's using her vampire powers, and somewhat pointy ears. She has some scars that she got fighting a werewolf (haha the rivalry between werewolves and vampires is real) but by now, they're pretty much healed. She wears clothes that are leaning toward the dark side of the color scale and doesn't really wear bright-colored clothes.

Species: V A M P I R E (not your normal blood-sucking vampire, but a psychic vampire. Basically, she sucks out the life force of other creatures. It doesn't kill them, but it does make them feel super exhausted and that's pretty much their state for the rest of their lives.)

Personality: She's kinda scary, and kinda mean, but once you get to know her you'll find out that she's also really sweet and gets flustered easily. She's really protective of the people she cares about (which you'll see when she interacts with Niko and Branwen) and gets into a lot of fights. She's soft-spoken and only raises her voice when she's extremely angry. She has some anger issues (haha like father like daughter), but she knows when she's about to explode and pretty much locks herself in her bedroom until she calms down. She likes gossip as much as she likes to read. She might talk your ear off about a book she's reading (she's very much like her brother in that aspect) if you give her the chance.

Backstory: Artemia was born to Count Dracula and his wife Sorina Ebonheart. She was raised in the Ebonheart castle for the first half of her life. There she lived with her mother, her father, and her grandparents. When she turned 112 (basically still a kid at this point) Sorina was killed by a vampire hunter. This fueled Dracula's paranoia and made him withdraw from society and create a mansion in the middle of a forest, far away from society. For a while, it was just Artemia and Dracula living at the mansion, but then Dracula married again to a vampire named Demetria. They had a boy named Nikolaos. Dracula forbid anyone to leave the vicinity of the forest, afraid that if they left their safe haven, his family would die the same way as his late wife Sorina. Though there would be times when Demetria would sneak Nikolaos and Artemia out of the mansion to the nearest village. When she was about 183, Demetria disappeared, and then ten years later, Dracula disappeared as well. This caused Artemia to move back into the mansion, as Nikolaos was not allowed to be alone, since he was still considered a child by vampire standards. Currently, she lives in his father's mansion, with her half-brother Nikoalos and a young female gargoyle named Branwen.

Other: She wears a necklace with a black bat charm, which gives her immunity to the sun for a couple of hours (maximum is 4 hours, but he never uses it for more than 2 hours). It resets every 10 hours. She owns a bookshop, but most of the time, it's run by one of her demon friends.

Artemia walked down a hallway in the dimly lit mansion. Any other person would have trouble navigating the mansion during nighttime, but not only did she have excellent night vision (she didn't, she was just accustomed to the mansion) she also had excellent hearing and scent. So, it was no surprise to her when Nikolaos leaped out of behind a suit of armor in an attempt to scare her. She merely raised an eye at him, placing her hands on her hips. "Dear brother, you're going to have to do better than that, if you want to scare me."

The boy pouted, putting a hand through his black, long hair. "Aww, I almost had you this time!"

"Yes, of course, keep telling your–" her voice trailed off midsentence, as her eyes glanced around the room. "Do you smell that? It smells like a…."

"Intruder," Niko growled, his eyes glowing yellow as he turned into a bat, flying toward the direction of the scent. For someone who didn't like to deal with people, that sure changed when it came to an intruder. Artemia followed him on foot, and somehow, she managed to arrive first than Niko. She stands in front of a wooden door, the entrance to one of the rooms that's near the main entrance. There are squeaks coming from above her, and she knows it's Niko telling her to open the door. And so she does. And there, in the room, stands what seems to be a human being. They were drenched head to toe in water, and all Artemia managed to say was, "What the hell."

Kat turns to stare in the direction of the voice, frozen by shock. “Uh… hello there,” she says, a little too casually, acting as if she didn’t just break into this person’s home. She shifted her position slightly, trying to appear confident.

The bat perched on her shoulder, hissing at the girl in front of them. It was obvious that he didn't trust her, and if he had his way, Niko would probably drink all the blood from her body. Artemia narrowed her eyes at Katherine, her mind coming up with painful and non-painful suggestions on how to get rid of this girl. "Who are you? And what are you doing at my house? I suggest you tell the truth," she trailed off and smiled unkindly. "Or else things might get painful."
