Abaddon tilted his head curiously when he saw that Grayson was walking. "Where are you going?" he asked curiously
"Didn't you hear him? Grayson muttered, still following the man at a quick pace.
"No?" Abaddon said, a brow raised as he followed after
Grayson huffed and shook his head. "Just follow me." He said as the man stopped halfway across the bridge, looking out over the water.
Abaddon just shrugged and followed after, still mildly confused
The guy took a deep breath and climbed up onto the ledge. Grayson started running, his hood falling back. “Wait! Stop!” He yelled, close now to the guy.
Abaddon's eyes widened, and he watched this all with a mix of curiosity and mild concern
Grayson reached the guy right before he let go, pushing him down onto the sidewalk. His arms were on either side of him and they both stared at each other for a second before Grayson pulled away, the guy scrambling to his feet and walking away quickly after mumbling a quiet, “Thanks.”
Abaddon floated there for a moment, stunned. "What in Sego was that?" he asked slowly after a bit of staring
“It happens a lot..” Grayson said softly, his eyes still widened with shock at what he had just accomplished.
"Okay then…" Abaddon said slowly, still not quite understanding and not certain he wanted to
“Didn’t you hear him though? All those horrible thoughts in his head..they were so loud..” Grayson said, standing up and starting to walk slowly back across the bridge.
"I can't read thoughts when I'm floating about outside your head, at least not very well," Abaddon answered
“Oh..” Grayson said quietly, looking down at the ground.
Abaddon let the silence fall between them, not knowing what to say
“Oh..here’s this..” Grayson mumbled, handing Abaddon the drawing of himself, not looking up.
"You know I'm not physical, right?" Abaddon said before giving a little sigh. He instead floated so he could see the drawing, and his eyes widened a tad at how good it was
“Well I could touch you so I just assumed…never mind.” He trailed off.
"It's fine, you're getting used to it," Abaddon said with a roll of his eyes
Grayson watched the sun slowly rise over the buildings as they walked. The city slowly coming to life around them.
Abaddon was actually sort of enjoying the walk. He hadn't been out of that graveyard in a century or two, so it was nice to see the outside world changing
Grayson looked around and spotted the guy from earlier embracing a little girl, which made him smile a little.
Abaddon followed his gaze, and when he saw the guy, he smiled a little. Huh. Looks like humans weren't awful at this sort of thing after all
“Can everyone see you? Or is it just me?” Grayson asked.
"Just you," Abaddon answered. To prove it he held a hand out, which passed right through someone walking towards him
