Grayson sighed, closing his eyes momentarily while walking, trying to calm himself down. “So my mind isn’t filled with other people’s useless shit that I hear all the time?” He asked quietly.
Grayson sighed, closing his eyes momentarily while walking, trying to calm himself down. “So my mind isn’t filled with other people’s useless shit that I hear all the time?” He asked quietly.
"Mm, sometimes, sometimes not. The mind is a mercurial place, my dear," Abaddon hummed, having reverted to being heard but not seen
What's it like in there? He asked curiously.
Well, the spot I call home is rather spacious, Abaddon hummed
Anything else? Grayson sighed, his breath puffing out in front of him.
Not much. It just looks like a mind, I guess, Abaddon hummed
Okay then. Grayson said, silence falling between them.
Abaddon just kind of minded his own business for now
Grayson peered up at the tall buildings around him as he walked into the city, lost in thought. He had always like the city at night better then the day time. You could hear the distant beat of music coming from a bar, occasionally yells or cars honking. Nobody was really in a rush to be anywhere, making it sort of peaceful.
Abaddon was actually sort of enjoying seeing the world through Grayson's eyes. It had been a while since he had gotten to do that sort of thing
Grayson made his way to a small sculpture park, his favorite place, and pulled out his sketchbook. He drew some people walking past, but mostly looked up at the sky as he lay there, back on the ground. Almost forgetting Abaddon was even there.
Abaddon, curious as ever, decided to materialize again. He peered over at Grayson's drawing before beginning to idly look around
Grayson sighed and glanced over at Abaddon, lightly sketching the outline of his face and hair. He reached out and gently nudged Abaddon's head so he could see it better.
Abaddon had recoiled slightly when he was touched, but he eventually just let Grayson nudge him around. He stayed put for now, figuring the other wouldn't like him moving
"Just stay there.." Grayson said quietly, his hand resting under Abaddon's chin.
At the touch to his chin, Abaddon felt something…strange in his chest. He couldn't quite place it, he just knew that whatever it was, he did not like it. So he stamped it down with a huff, his violet eyes looking away from Grayson
"Stop moving." Grayson demanded, his hand moving to the back of Abaddon's head and pushing it forward a little.
"Bastard," Abaddon muttered bitterly before doing as he was told. He didn't feel like getting bossed around, so he figured he'd comply
Grayson finished with Abaddon and drew his hand away from his head, brushing briefly against Abaddon's hair. He leaned back up against a sculpture, shading and blending certain things in the drawing.
Abaddon still stayed still for a minute, until he realized that Grayson had finished with him. He gave a little huff before curling up, his knees drawn comfortably up to his chest
"What's wrong?" Grayson asked quietly, not looking up at Abaddon.
"Nothing. Just thinking, is all," Abaddon responded, his sharp, lavender eyes flicking from person to person as he watched the crowds
"Okay. Have..fun.." Grayson muttered distractedly, his eyes narrowed at the drawing.
Abaddon just rolled his eyes before looking down at the concrete beneath his feet
Grayson glanced up at a man as he walked past. He stood up as he walked past and started following him a minute later, frowning.
