(( Just to let you know, I am okay with kissing, hugging, things like that, but I avoid any sort of sexual themes 👍🏻👍🏻))
She pulled her hand away, rolling her eyes as she turned towards the window. “Just go to bed. I don’t want to talk about this right now,” she replied. “We’ll sleep here, get up, and go our separate ways in the morning.”
(all good)
Killian got up slowly and wondered back to his bed. He lay there with his back facing away from her, thinking about everything he had done wrong, how he lost the person that he loved, even thought she was still in the same room.
“Killian, I—“
She had been too harsh with him, hadn’t she? The truth is, she missed him. She missed him more than anything, and she desperately wanted him back. But she knew that they would never work. Not with death constantly hanging on their backs.
“I’m sorry…”
"it's fine," he muttered, pulling the blanket over his shoulders, soon falling asleep
She watched him for a few moments in silence, but eventually, she pulled her blankets around herself and fell asleep as well. In the morning, she woke up rather early and began once again packing up her belongings, ready to head out.
Killian listened to her pack up, waiting to see if she would say anything to him. "We're you not going to say goodbye?" He asked, hearing her move about. He had no motivation to even get up, it felt like his heart had been crushed. He turned over and looked at her, tearing welling in his eyes.
Her eyes softened when she saw his tears. She walked over to his side, sat down, and pulled him into her arms. “No, Killian, I wouldn’t do that.” She rested her chin on the top of his head.
Tears rolled down his face, "Do you really want to split up..? What if.. what if I never see you again.." He wrapped his arms around her tightly, never wanting to let go
“No, I don’t want to split up,” she said softly, “but I just… I think it’s for the best.” She gently kissed his hair as she stared blankly out the window.
He squeezed her one last time before letting go, "Let's go then," He stood outside, in the cool air, hugging her one last time
She returned the embrace, resting her cheek on his shoulder. “Maybe… maybe we should stay together for just a little while longer,” she suggested. “Just until we can find other people to partner with. It’s not safe going out alone.”
"Are you sure?" He asked, kissing her forehead
She smiled faintly and closed her eyes, taking in his warmth. “Mhm, I’m sure,” she said. “There’s a town a couple days walk away. I’m sure we can fInd a couple other people there.”
"Okay," He grabbed her hands and began to walk with her, "When we find people, we'll split." He had the biggest smile on his face, looking like he just got married.
She squeezed his hand gently as they walked. “Did anything happen while we were separated?”
"umm, not exactly, just normal zombie stuff." Her averted his eyes from hers and looked forward, "We should search some of these houses for food and water," He prompted, changing the subject as best he could
She raised an eyebrow. “You’re acting a bit strange,” she said. “Is everything alright?”
"I'm sure we both have seen a lot, the fall wasn't to long ago." He opened the door to a larger house, looking for warmer clothes and food, "We don't really need to talk about it,"
She let out a soft sigh as she followed him. “Yeah, but don’t exhaust yourself trying to hold it all in,” she said. “If you ever need to chat, I’m here, okay…?”
"I would never not tell you," he said with a smile, "look around for any clothes that might fit you, it's getting colder everyday." Killian searched the house for walkers, thankfully only finding one, he quickly killed it and moved on
She walked through the house, staying mostly silent as she searched for any warm clothes she could find. Eventually, she found a thick winter coat, boots, and a hat along with something she wasn’t expecting.
“Look, Killian, I found something.” She walked up to him, holding a picture album in her hands. “A couple used to live here…”
"If a couple lived her, why didn't I find two walkers?" He rubbed the back of his neck as he looked at the photos. "Olivia.. look," a photo was taken before the fall, they were having a baby, "search the house! She might still be here!"
Olivia nodded and took her gun, heading upstairs. She began searching through each of the rooms, trying to find any sort of sign of life.
Killian looked through every door down stairs. He opened one of the doors to reveal a basement, "This place has a basement!" He yelled to her
