“Mmm… well, we’ll be lucky if we can even make it out of here alive.” She picked up her gun and tried her best to get a good aim at the walkers below. “You’ve got any ideas for where we should go?”

"There's a highway, we take the highway east and we'll hit a town," He held into Olivia, making sure she didn't fall, "Oooo we could even share a bed, how about that," He smirked as he watched her aim at the walkers

“Pssh, as if. I’m not sharing a bed with you or any man, for that matter.” She rolled her eyes before she began to shoot at the zombies. It wasn’t long before she managed to take them all out. “Besides, we broke up. We’re done. Got it?”

Killian put a hand over his heart, “You’re so mean!” He whined. He jumped out of the tree and held his arm up for her, “Do you need help?” He asked, wearing a small smile

“Me, mean? Well, if I’m remembering correctly, I told you to never come back. And yet, here you are.” She tried sliding down the branches of the tree, but while Olivia was good at fighting, she was horrible at climbing. “And… yeah. I might need a bit of assistance.”

He grabbed her, letting her fall into him. "I didn't follow you, dummy, I happen to find you. You're happy I'm here, I just know it." Killian gently set her down on the ground, "Let's get moving," He grinned

She looped her arm through his after strapping the gun across her shoulders. “Mm… sure, sure. I’m having a hard time believe you,” she teased. “And now you want to travel with me again?”

"It's not safe to travel alone, plus we can figure it out once we get there." He let go of her and started on his way, "Follow me," He said warmly, "We'll be to the town before you know it."

“Well, that’s if we don’t bump into any more zombies.” She smiled and pecked his cheek. “Don’t die on me, okay? Just because we broke up doesn’t mean you can get yourself killed by zombies.”

"I'll try," He laughed and began to walk. The bare land gave him the chills, you never know what was lurking and he didn't like it. Soft noises, way off in the distance, he knew death was on it's way.

She slipped her hand into his, holding it tightly. “It’s going to get dark soon. We don’t want to be out here at night.” She huddled close, her eyes scanning the desolate land before them. “I think you’re probably right. It’s better if we stick together…”

Killian's face turned red, "Yeah.." He tightened his grip around her hand, "We should be there soon, we'll find a house to stay in for the night and figure it out tomorrow,"

“It’s- it’s probably best if we split up tomorrow,” she whispered. “Find new partners. We’re just… we’re too close. This will only end in one of us getting killed and the other one being heartbroken.”

He laughed nervously, "why would one of us be heart broken..?" He let go of her hand and took a step away, "sorry.."

“Well, I don’t know about you, but I would be pretty devastated if you ended up getting yourself killed. It’s not hard, considering we have zombies hunting us down.” She let out a sigh. “It’s just… it’s not a great idea to continue to be partners.”

He bonked her head and smiled, "You worry to much, I'm not gonna get killed," the sun had almost completely set as the town came into view

“You’re not invincible, my love. All it takes is a bite from a walker.” She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to keep herself warm. “I’ve seen many, many people die. Too many to count.”

"I know," he muttered. They had reached the town, a small place but it had nice houses, "they look rather nice, which one do you want?"

Olivia led him up to a rather small home and walked inside, dropping her gun and supplies into the floor. She collapsed on a sofa in the living room of the home and began to tend to her wounds and fix up her bandages.

“We can’t stay here for more than a night,” she said. “The zombies will hunt us down if we’re not careful.”

"sounds good, but we need to stay in the same room though, it's safer." Killian headed upstairs and went into one of the bedrooms with a lock. He searched the house to make sure it was safe, locking all the entrances, "you definitely need some sleep, you look terrible."

“Oh, shut up. I do not.” She laughed softly and pulled her dark hair over her shoulder. She sat down, propping her gun up next to her. “If I need sleep, then so do you. You look just as bad as me, my love.”

“Mm… this is a bit unlike you,” she teased. “But okay, let’s go.”

She kissed his cheek goodnight before she began to walk up the stairs on the home, scanning the scenery as they walked. She knew there could be a walked hiding somewhere, and she wasn’t into the idea of a surprise attack.

They soon reached the room, and Olivia sat down on her bed before she began to undo her braids.

He locked the door and made sure the window was covered before laying down. Killian watched as Olivia took her hair down, "you look good with your hair down,"

“Aw, you think?” She rested her head on her pillow, staring up at the ceiling. “Do you miss traveling with me, my love?”
