"Maybe." Babe said unhelpfully, sounding distracted. She already had a pretty good guess of why her brother wasn't here.

Henry kept an eye on her. She seemed distracted, and he didn't want to intrude on whatever was going on in that busy head of hers. Lunch went by quickly, and it convinced Henry that she would be alright for the last few classes of the day.

As soon as lunch was over, Babe was on her feet. "See you all at practice, or any of the classes have with you." The days walking was catching up to her, and her ankle was starting to bug her even more. She was more focused on what Kai wasn't telling her though.

Henry waved goodbye as he gathered his lunch things and packed them all up. He said his goodbyes to the team, silently wondering what was going on with Babe, and what kind of test she had in store. (Skip to practice? Or sometime else?)

Henry decided to leave his house early and meet Babe at her work. If she didn't have the car again, he could offer a ride. His excuse was wanting to talk about the school project, along with whatever kind of test would come. And, of course, seeing Babe again.

Babe was grinning, nodding her head along with the rock music playing over head as she tidied up the records. Tune In, in her short time working here, had already become a third home, her second being the rink, of course. She was in the store's uniform, black jeans and the black polo shirt with the logo, haphazardly tucked into said jeans.

Henry pushed through the doors and walked over to the counter by Babe. "How's it going?" He called over the music as he glanced around at the colors and took in the atmosphere of the store.

Babe looked up, grin widening at the sight of Henry. "Hey! It's goin' alright, you?" The store wasn't too full right now, only a couple of people in it, most of whom looked like they could and would steal your wallet. It was a regular record store, light warm and bright by quite a few lava lamps on multiple surfaces, and there was a small stage on the far wall, a drum set and keyboard set up on it.

"I'm doing pretty great. It's good to see you still awake, how's your ankle?" Henry decided to avoid asking what had kept Babe up, and instead check on that ankle of hers. They had almost an hour until practice still, so he was planning on staying for a little while to talk.

"It's bugging up with all the moving, but it's not as bad as yesterday." Babe said, shrugging. It hurt a bit more than she was letting on, but she wasn't about to tell him that. "Hey, who's your favorite band or musician?"

Henry's nose crinkled. "Probably… Really anything classical. Except Vivaldi, I'm not a fan of all the violins. Piano's good, though." Her ankle was probably pretty bad, but she clearly wasn't going to say that. "How about your favorites?"

Babe slipped out from behind the counter, grabbing his hand to tug him along. "I listen to pretty much anything, really. 'Cept the stuff I don't like. I'm really into Fall Out Boy right now, and the more rock stuff, y'know?"

Henry gave a nod, searching his memory for any times he'd heard that kind of music. "Where are we going?" He asked as she pulled him along, and he laughed as he tried to keep up without knocking anything over.

"Here!" Babe stopped, letting go of his hand and pointing at the sign that read 'Classical' in a pretty font. There were shelves of records and cds along the wall underneath it, and Babe was already picking through them.

"Oh, wow…" Henry said as he started to leaf through them. He recognized many of the titles, but not all. "Does this store have everything?"

"Any genre you can think of, it's probably in here somewhere." Babe said happily, pulling a cd off the shelf and handing it to him before moving on. "Cool, right?"

"This place is awesome. I've lived here all my life, and I don't think I've ever actually come in. I kind of assumed it would be all modern annoying music." He looked down at the cd and read through its contents while he spoke.

"I could literally spend all day in here." Babe said, a bit wistfully. "There's an open mic night this Saturday, and apparently it brings in a lot of talent."

Henry looked up from the music. 'You have to sing. You totally should, you'd be great!" A wide grin spread across his face as he looked at her closely.

Babe's cheeks turned a cute shade of red, and her sifting paused for a split second. "I-uh, no, I d-don't think so. I'm not exactly good enough for that." She said, shaking her head.

Henry pushed her playfully. "Hardly. You're almost too good for that. But you still should!" Henry's enthusiasm was almost touchable.

"Am not. I don't know, I don't…think I should." Babe shook her head again, shrugging. Oddly enough, stage fright was her main issue.
