"We can tether you, if that makes you feel better." He said calmly. "Or you can give me a list to look for and I grab things for you." He shifted, wnd kept working, keeping ahold of the welding tools.

“I really just need food and maybe another pair of clothes.” She huffed as she worked, bracing her foot against the side of the ship as she tugged the panel to place. This intense of work wasn’t something she was used to and it really worked her muscles. Thesa had a very strong feeling that her body wasn’t going to like her in the morning.
Zev nodded. "I will get that for you later, then." He replied, pulling back a panel to reveal the damaged wires beneath, and began to work on the wiring. "Would you like anything else from your ship?" He shifted slightly. His suit let out a soft beep.
She thought for a moment and nodded, adding to the small list of things she needed, “On the floor next to my bed is a copy of The Princess Bride, mind bringing that as well?” Her suit was still working perfectly, though the built in communication things were a little bit delayed and definitely needed to be redone. Another panel in place and she started welding, again looking away so she didn’t hurt her eyes as much.
"Alright." He frowned slightly, and kept working. "So. Clothing, and your book." He said. "I will grab those later." He welded shut the panel he had been working on.
"And food, don't forget the food." She replied, poking a wire back into the inside of the ship before welding the rest of the panel shut. Thesa worked without stopping for quite a while longer before taking a break, holding onto the side of the ship while her arms rested. It wasn't a very long break though and soon she was back to work.
"Ah. Food." He replied. "Right." He nodded, and kept working. His suit pinged again, and he stopped for a moment to fiddle with the suits controls. "My suit has stopped working; i will head back inside the ship in five minutes so that my joints don't ice up."
She nodded, “Sounds good, will you be back out at all?” Her stomach sank at the thought of being alone in space, with no one to talk to or keep her from freaking out. Thesa gulped but kept working, forcing her brain to ignore everything bad that came to mind. All she had to do was work on the panels, at least for a little while, she reminded herself. She could handle being alone out in space.
Zev nodded. "It should only take the suit a few minutes to right itself, it just needs to do it inside, under normal pressure, and then I shall be back." He let go of the ship, and floated to the hole to go back inside the Daedalus.
Thesa glanced over at him as he left and continued working, fixing a bit of wiring sticking out from a panel before twisting and bending it back into the right place. She welded the pieces together and sighed, looking for another one to work with that was close. There were a few above where the front window would go and carefully she floated up to them, a half clamped on the metal at all time.
(by the way, if you didn't see it, I was the one that mentioned you in the appreciation chat)
Zev went into the pressurized section of the ship, and let the suit fix itself. How much longer until the ship is fixed?
(Ok I was trying to figure out who had mentioned me, cuz I was kinda confused as to why it popped up in my notifications all of a sudden XD)
She carefully started bending the panels and hull back into shape, flipped upside down so she could brace herself on something as she worked. Her arms were already sore but she kept at it, welding the piece into place and going onto the one next to it. In her mind she just kept repeating a sentence over and over to keep herself from chickening out and going back into the ship, When this is finished, you’ll be able to go meet Alexi.
(ok lol)
After a few minutes, Zev came back out, and started working again. "Is your suit working well?" He asked her as he worked. It should be, he hadn't been able to find any problems when he tested it.
Thesa nodded, “Yup, it’s doing fine, it doesn’t seem like anything is wrong.” She looked over at him before turning her attention back to the ship, tugging and pushing on one particularly stubborn piece. “Is your suit good to go again?”
He nodded. "It's systems don't work correctly, and it fails. I can handle it, you could not." He kept working, welding the panels back together.
“I could handle it until it starts failing,” She corrected, huffing at the panel and taking a break for a moment. “Stupid piece of junk,” Thesa muttered at the metal, starting to twist and pull on it again, “Just go back to shape and life will be so much easier.” Her suit beeped, but it wasn’t a bad beep, just one that sounded saying everything was working correctly. It was one feature she actually like from the older suits, as the newer ones had gotten modified or even gotten rid of the feature to save costs.
Zev shrugged. "That may be true." He replied, looking over at her for a moment, before continuing to work. He continued working with the paneling, frowning slightly. "However, it is still better that i have the malfunctioning suit."
She shrugged, “I won’t deny that. You’re body is much more suited to dealing with space than mine is, and a malfunctioning suit would be trouble for me.” The panel she was working on finally bent into place and she welded it on, sighing in relief that the task was over. Her eyes scanned for the next panel to work on and she saw one, floating over to it and starting to work.
Zev nodded. "Though i still need to be careful, if my joints get too cold then i will stop working and need it replaced before I can move again." He said, finishing up the panel and moving to the next.
“Are your joints and internals just like any other androids? Or do you have to be repaired specifically?” She asked, knowing that most androids ranged in their joints and durability based on the model and job they served. Thesa sighed and shook her head, leaning on the panel as best she could in zero gravity, “I gotta take a break. This is intense.”
"I believe they are, yes. I should be able to go to any repair place for my repairs." Zev replied. He nodded. "I understand. You may come back out whenever you want, I shall be working, unless my suit malfunctions again." He said, still working.
She nodded and carefully floated over to Zev’s ship, thankful that the two ships were still right next to each other. Thesa let the normal pressure get into the suit for a moment when she stepped into the ship before sighing and finding somewhere somewhat safe to take her helmet off. Her curiosity told her to go explore the ship while she took a break, and so she did. The hallways were confusing and she wandered down them, sure to keep track of where she came from so she could get back and help Zev.
Parts of the Daedalus were sealed off, and on the other side of the doors, there was nothing. Those were the areas that had been damaged when the ship was attacked. Most rooms were empty. There was a rec room, with an old holo and TV system, where Zev had presumably watched TV. The ship was running on minimum lights, woth every third light on at half power. There was a low hum as the old engines ran for longer than they had in thirty years.
Her hand ran over the wall and every object she saw, her mind trying to fathom staying on this ship for thirty years with no one else and no hope to be rescued until her ship crashed into his. Thesa sighed and shook her head, heading back out the the break in the ship wall and putting her helmet back on. She knew her arms were still sore, but at least they felt a little better and could work for longer to fix her ship.
Zev continued working, then remembered that he needed to tether the two ships together. He drifted to the opening, and grabbed the tethering supplies, and started to tether them together.
