@Milano. No need to apologize. Whether or not you're interested in joining is entirely up to you. You don't have to feel pressured to RP here, nor do you have to bother yourself with it if your schedule is already packed as-is, because I understand entirely, but rest assured that if you do want in, you have a place here.
@Gentleman, you remind me a good deal of a character of mine that I am extremely fond of.
This is perhaps one of the greatest compliments I could receive.
Alright. I filled out the template now.
Wonderful! Well-done character. I'm excited to see the cast interacting with each other.
any opinions on the dorm chart, dom?
If people object than I don't mind, but by sex is what I would go with.
If Milano joins with a female, we could have three rooms. Two girls characters in one, two girl characters in another, and then I (or anyone who wanted to) could make some vague guy character to be Merritt's roommate.
If Milano joins with a male, we could still have three rooms. Two girl characters in one, two guy characters (Merritt and whoever Milano's character would be) in another, and then the remaining girl character in a room with a vague outline of a character or perhaps even their own, solitary room.
If Milano does not join, We'll put two girls in a room together regardless, and then we'll be left with Merritt and a leftover girl. We can either A) pair them together (but that would break the pairing-by-sex thing), B) give each of them their own empty rooms, or C) make vague outline characters just to give them dorm-mates. C) might be unnecessary, though.
Another option. What if the lottery kids are lumped in together?
putting at least most of the existing characters in rooms with each other allows for developing relationships, whether bad or good, so that's an upside
ooo, dom's got a decent idea there. if they had larger sized dorms, or even just did bunks in standard size, so that they could put the lottery kids in one room. if we really wanted to dig into that, it could be something done because the school isn't happy about having them there, and neither are most other students, so half the students wouldn't want to room with them

Very true. That would also make it easier for us all to interact with one another. Yes, yes. Brilliant idea, Dom (if you don't mind me calling you that). I think we should go with that, and I shall calmly set fire to the other ideas.
that would leave eris out, yes?
Oh. Hm. I forgot about that. Do you want Eris to be left out? Because if not, I can consider other arrangements. It's not too late to put out the fire.
i was just asking for clarification. she would probably work best in her own room, or at least with a dormmate she knows. putting her in with any new kids….not the best idea, i dont think
Alright. We'll let her be alone, yes, and then throw the lottery kids together in a room. This sounds like an acceptable plan to me. And the fire gets to keep burning!
I think all of the lottery kids being a room together would work out fine, so I'll cast my vote to that too.
Obviously, I agree. (And feel free to refer to me as Dom, Gentleman.)
Splendid. Wonderful. Excelsior. Alright, so that last word doesn't actually make sense in this context, but I had to say it, if for no other reason than to honor Stan Lee. Ahem. Moving on.
Is there anything else that needs to be addressed, or should I prepare a starting post?
Perhaps mention the transfer workings. But you could do that in the start.
Specifically, the process of their arrivals and introductions to the school? As well as maybe the way the news is broken the kids, and the proceeded events explaining how they get there? I don't intend to ask so many questions. I just wish to make sure I adequately explain everything at the beginning, so that no one is lacking in information.
All those questions, yes.
Yes, yes. Alright. I will make sure to answer all of these, either in my starting post or before. If you think of more questions, don't hesitate to throw them my way.
i'm not going to be on the roleplay forums until later this evening, but i don't think that'll pose much of a problem considering eris is an older student. unless you wanted her as some sort of greeter, considering her status both society and and academic-wise?
