(Hello? )
(Damn it! Idk why I keep losing some of my rps. You're not the only one this keeps happening to, I'm so sorry.)
Eiji started wandering around the library in search of his twin, his ears swiveling to try and figure out where they were. Soon, he set off in a different direction and found Aiki sitting alone on the floor, pouting.
Farah laughed at the sight. "Oh, Aiki!" she giggled. "Are you alright?"
(Np asfghjk)
"Yeah, m'fine… you left me…" Aiki whined, still pouting. "I'm so sorry we left you all by yourself, you big baby." Eiji teased, crouching beside his twin. Aiki huffed and looked away with his arms crossed. "I don't like being alone…"
(I'm so sorry. Idk why it doesn't post my responses. Stupid technology.)
Farah chuckled and held a hand down. "Well, you're not alone anymore. Come on."
Aiki reluctantly accepted Farah's hand and got to his feet, their ears drooping a bit. They really didn't like being stuck all alone in this place. Eiji sighed and stood as well, keeping close to Aiki so they wouldn't be so upset. "We should head out now. Farah, you can check out those books if you want to bring them home to read."
Farah nodded and squeezed Aiki's hand comfortingly. "Will you help me carry my books up to the desk?" she asked kindly.
"Yeah, sure…" Aiki perked up slightly at the opportunity to be helpful and picked up some of Farah's books to carry to the desk. Eiji carried the rest, and he kept a close eye on Aiki to make sure they were doing okay.
Farah smiled and nodded her thanks. "How will I check these out?" she asked Eiji curiously.
"The librarian will just mark down that you're checking them out and you'll bring them back in two weeks." Eiji shrugged. "Or I guess we will, since you'll probably be gone by then. But you're basically borrowing them for a set amount of time."
"Ah, I see… Interesting," Farah remarked as they reached the desk. She took a small step back and let Eiji do the talking.
Eiji chatted calmly with the librarian as he checked out the books. He seemed to know her well since he came pretty often. Soon, he handed out books for everyone to carry and they were headed out.
"Thank you," Farah remarked to both the librarian and to Eiji. "We're going back home now, yes?"
"No problem, and yeah, we're heading back home now." Eiji adjusted his grip on his stack of books, and Aiki quietly followed.
Farah glanced back at Aiki with a warm smile. "You alright there?" she asked. "Sorry we lost you."
"Yeah, m'fine…" Aiki mumbled, staring down as they walked. Eiji's stomach twisted at Aiki's tone. He sounds upset…
Farah felt Aiki's emotions suddenly and just as strong as if they were her own. "Alright, I don't believe that for a moment."
Aiki's ears turned back and they looked away. "I'm fine. I'm just being stupid. Don't worry about it…" Eiji winced. "Aiki…"
"You aren't being stupid," Farah assured him. "I promise, you're not. What's going on?"
"It's nothing… I just… don't like being alone…" Aiki mumbled, flushing in embarrassment as he pushed past Eiji and Farah to try and get away.
Farah frowned and picked up her own pace to match Aiki's. "Then why are you so desperate to be alone now?"
"Because he's embarrassed." Eiji replied, knowing that Aiki wouldn't admit to it, and grabbed onto his twin's arm. Aiki flushed harder and turned their face away, weakly trying to pull away. "Aiki, it's fine… I'm sorry for not coming to find you when you got lost." "I-I wasn't lost!" He insisted. "I just… couldn't find you."
"That's our fault, love," Farah insisted to make him feel better. "I got carried away. I'm sorry, we didn't mean to loose you."
Aiki became very interested in his feet as he walked, looking uncomfortable. "I-I just… I could hear you guys, but I couldn't find you… and I couldn't try, because the librarian got mad if I called out…"
Farah gave Aiki a gentle side hug. "I should've made sure you were with us. I'm sorry."
